Best Domain Name - I need advice

I need advice for my domain name www.finefoodoasis.com. It is more than 1 year ago, when I created the website and have chosen the domain for "Tasty & Delicious" my wife's German Cafe and European Delicatessen Shop.

After a learn process I recognized, that the domain I have chosen, is wrong. (Only my opinion)
Now I would prefer a Domain such as "German Cafe or European Delicatessen Shop" instead of Finefoodoasis.

Please give me some ideas, what could be the best choice especially when you consider how Google works.

Thank you.

    I think you are right...

If you can put your targeted keyword in your domain name, the more you will benefit from it. because that way, it is optimized for this specific keywords.

Other thing, use google adwords external tool and check with one (German Cafe or European Delicatessen) that has more popular search volume!

    Good luck!

(I hope you don't have competitors in this thread)

LOL, well, you can forget about that, now...

The domain name you've chosen will be fine. Just use it for branding and over time you can accomplish a lot.

I'm one of the majors in this niche and every country has opportunities that are unique to that country.

I can't do anything in NZ except rank for the same keywords you will be targeting. Same for you here in the States.

If you do your SEO correctly you can get exposure for those keywords.

I wish you were here in the States, I carry almost 3,000 products and we could do business.

Just keep at it and brand your website the same as I have for mine. It will pay off over time.

German Cafe, European Delicatessen are very general terms, meaningless and boring too.
Words "Tasty" and "Delicious" mean really the same thing.

Fine Food Oasis is a cool name in my opinion , I would turn THIS into a brand!

Absolutely agree with David. Fine Food Oasis is, imho, an excellent name. I would get your wife to change the name of her cafe. By the way, capitalising the first letter of each part of the name (i.e. www dot FineFoodOasis dot com) makes a massive difference to conversions, and makes it instantly more readable.

    Good luck - i think it's a great name . . . . . . DON'T CHANGE IT!!!!!! :-)

Branding is very important and Fine Food Oasis seems a good name to brand, perhaps the keywords on your site need to be more specific to the type of dishes that you serve, rather than words such as tasty. You need to think of what potential customers would enter to find your cafe.

Thank you guys for your suggestions. I never was thinking, that FineFoodOasis is a great brand name, but you are right. Do you think it is even better than "Tasty & Delicious".

BTW, I am not worry about competition. New Zealand is a small market.

It is much better than Tasty & Delicious. As mentioned by someone above, those two words are practically synonymous.

Also, Fine Food Oasis is much easier to recognize as a brand. In fact, there are probably many existing brands that have the phrase "tasty and delicious" already in their slogan or something.

Plus, I like the alliteration in Fine Food Oasis, it "rolls off the tongue" even when you say it in your head.

I like your idea, that Fine Food Oasis is rolling better off the tongue. I constantly struggle pronouncing "Tasty & Delicious"

        Thanks for your opinion.

If you insist on using FineFoodOasis for something other than your cafe, I would reccomend a gourmet for shop, thin fine cheese, fancy breads, expensive wines and hopefully nice profits

I love Fine Food Oasis. It sounds so refreshing...like an oasis in the desert...offering a place where you can get renewed and replenished. I can just see that name with lovely green colors giving the site a rich, lush look. Then use just a bit of sand coloring somewhere to represent the desert in the distance. Just a thought.

    Add:
Just went and had a look at your site and see you already have the sandy color. So why not add some green to represent the oasis...play up that aspect.

    Good luck with your venture.
