Best Affiliate Networks? Clickbank still all the rage?

Most of my eggs are in the physical product basket. I used to be all digital products, affiliate marketing, but it's been a while since I've dabbled in it. I'd like to see if there's still a buck to be made.

I had reasonable success in the past with ranking clickbank review videos and landing pages. I just did a quick Google Trends search for clickbank... interest hasn't plummeted, but its dropped a little over 5 years.

Anyone here still making money promoting clickbank products?

Any other recommendations? Monthly recurring income. No MLM.

Peace.

You probably heard of it, but JvZoo has a few products that are monthly recurring. I've made a bit of money promoting a product I think called "Explainer Video... something".

Also, a lot of upsells in the funnels to bring in extra income.

The hot spot for IM products right now is W+, but it's a lot harder for people to get approved without a good track record of sales or a relationship with some vendors.

JVZ has really dropped in quality IMO. I only promote very few products I've been promoting for a while. I don't look there for launches anymore.

I kicked CB to the curb years ago.

For internet marketing products, definitely warrior plus. It feels like Jvzoo is fading a bit, too. I see more, and more marketers not using it anymore.

Warrior plus is hot like already mention.

But for a variety of niches, Clickbank is still the best.

I still believe in Amazon, too. I've made a nice pocket of cash over the years.

If you do CPA, then without question Maxbounty.

There is one huge downside to consider with Amazon. Amazon requires at least 500 followers, and you must sell 3 different products within 90 days from signing up to Amazon Associates. I did a review of Amazon Associates.

For beginners, Amazon Associates is a must stay away from as an affiliate marketer, just until you've had some experience in the game before considering to become an affiliate marketer with them.

Amazon has followers? Is this right?

Well, .... I did a short search and ended up with someone selling a book on getting Twitter followers. ☺

ClickBank still has hundreds of great offers to promote and sell.

The secret is being able to get your affiliate offers in front of the right people (drive targeted traffic).

It depends on your traffic, many get sales from procrastinators so is the cookie duration long enough? Do other affiliates compete with you? Is your content alluring?

Every now and then if a high-quality internet marketing product is released on Clickbank, I tend to promote on my Youtube channel and my email list. I would recommend promoting recurring monthly subscription products with affiliate marketing attached to it, and then upload reviews to your Youtube channel.

Clickbank made me quite wealthy 10 years ago. I no longer do product launches because of the BS involved, but I have 3 small low hype products on Clickbank...High quality stuff, and it generated over 100K per year just by networking with a few other Clickbank vendors. It really very simple business.

I am now generating most sales myself with text marketing.

I have a friend that is making 20K a day selling ClickBank weight loss products with Facebook PPC. I guess he's got that figured out. I don't really care to work that hard.

ClickBank is still very viable and a lot more secure than JV Zoo.....Which I like too

Why exactly? Some of the products aren't the highest of quality. You do need to vet the products, find real testimonials online. To make sure you're not promoting crappy stuff.

You don't want to be picking bad products, because that will make you look bad. But bad stuff is everywhere.

They got some really good health products on there. Things I'd actually buy, so its not all trash.

They pay well. And its easy for anyone to start with. Most products don't require being approved of either. The wide variety of niches makes it suitable for marketers.

okay you are right maybe I should say it this way: Stay away when you are a newbie who has no idea what you are doing there

  • I think for 2020 is more about new affiliate verticals to work with for example SaaS affiliate programs as the space is getting more popular for both merchants and affiliates.

For example, web monitoring services, website and eCommerce tools, these affiliate programs pay high commissions and in many cases recurrent commissions.

    Cheers

Thanks for the feedback, I should have been more clear. I want to promote as a vendor. It's for a video marketing service, so digital product.

    Clickbank doesn't allow digital services.

I want affiliates to be able to promote on their Facebook pages/groups. I put jvzoo.com in a message to a group owner, and the message was deleted as spam! So, JVZ is out.

Is W+ also not allowed on Facebook?

I looked at 2checkout, but they charge 6% + .60c per sale, seems expensive.

Also looked at shareasale, I think its $1000 just to set up.

Hard to believe there isn't a Facebook friendly affiliate network, similar to W+ and JVZ.... Nothing really coming up on Google.

I think if you actually look at the numbers and where the bigger launches are happening, you'll see they're clearly still on JVZoo for the most part. You can just look at the recently launched products in the marketplace and see their stats.

I see the biggest problem to be shrinking margins, regardless of the platform.

Clickbank has digital products for almost every niche imaginable. JVZoo was best for me when emailing newbies. Many of the other platforms - Shareasale, Rakuten, CJ, etc. - have some excellent mainstream businesses you can represent if you have a fondness for the niche.

My point is that when I started (I have been in and out of affiliate marketing for a decade) you could get a good keyword on Google for .05. Now you have to struggle to keep it under $2. All of this is fine in the sense that if you want to succeed you need to adjust and plan accordingly.

Personally, and to my detriment, I resisted Facebook for a long while. But you never know. Anyone remember the Periscope craze of a few years ago? I barely hear a peep about it now.

Now I sell domains, build niche sites with Amazon links and sell high ticket marketing courses with a done-for-you platform . The margins are great for the courses and the advertising rates are the same.

Yes, fewer folks can afford the high end. But for inexperienced wannabe marketers looking to make extra cash, the opportunity is very much worth it.

No doubt , warriorplus is great and but to get approved is little bit problematic unless you have at least 50++ sales record.

But clickbank is still best to start, many top converting product + few great product on clickbank that pay around $500++ per sale and no approval request. If you have clickbank account can get affiliate link instantly.

So not like clickbank still all the rage but yes when you start it seems..but as you will grow in affiliate marketing, you will see many good player as well.

    MaxBounty.

    The Super Affiliate Network

I'm assuming you're looking for percentage-based affiliate products where a sales need to be made.

If that's the case, for the MMO market, just stick to JVZoo, Warrior Plus and Clickbank.

You really can't go wrong with those networks.

If you're looking to promote CPA affiliate offers in multiple niches, Max Bounty is a good beginner place to get started.

The big three are Warrior+ JVZoo and Clickbank. Everyone says start with Clickbank because you don't need approval to get started, you also can use commission junction. Digistore24 is also on the rise... I have made sales with Clickbank in the last few months but I have been focused on W+ lately

In my opinion, clickbank is still on top. I have been in affiliate marketing business for over 15 year and I find CB is much better for products selling.

For CPA kind of marketing then go to "MaxBounty" and "GlobalwideMedia"

And I must say "DigiStore24" is also a rising platform for affiliates.

I am in different business than affiliate marketing, but I have friends and business partners who working in affiliate marketing and selling clickbank products. They are doing very well, what changed in these years is only the traffic source. Now there are many other traffic sources such as instagram, pinterest, reddit.

hey man - I'm also curious what affiliates think about SaaS product and recurring commissions versus a one-time fee. We just launched our affiliate program and most of our affiliates so far are our customers (we have about 230 of them currently). I want to figure out a way to get in front of the super affiliates and do whatever I need to do to make them successful. What are your thoughts here?

I still make some $$$ with Clickbank but depends a lot on the product and your traffic. Some of their products are worthy but many are not. Test test and retest and find a product you can promote that fits into your quality of product as if you were creating it yourself. What you promote is often a reflection on you.
