PayPal Alternatives Needed

Paypal just "limited" my account and it looks like i'm not the only one.

What alternatives are available that work not just for digital products but
also with services, invoicing, make pay buttons, and can work internationally?

Especially UK, Canada, and Germany.

Oh, and they should also be affordable.

Thanks!

I just use Stripe and a module alongside my Paypal account. There's no monthly cost and you just get charged processing fees. I have my ecommerce sites set up with a quick buy function.

You might want to explode apple pay andxI think you might also want to drive some research about Payoneer.

In the meantime why don't you work towards opening a merchant account whilst you utilize pay pal.

Thanks for your suggestions. A question though...

Don't you need an iphone for Apple pay? Payoneer might be an option, though for now, I'm going with Stripe...

And since the whole point of my question is that I no longer have acces to PayPal, anything that requires it in any way is out.

Stripe is a great option and the fees are cheaper than PayPal

I would recommend to try Transaction Cloud. I'm using it for almost 5 months.

BTW, unlike PayPal and Stripe, they offer an affiliate program for their partners, which I think is a big plus.

Thanks for the suggestion. Does your quickbuy function work with Stripe? I just signed up for a Stripe account, but haven't found my way around it yet...

This is an interesting question to be honest, we have used paypal for many years our account has never been blocked(restricted) or banned. But i have heard of paypal doing this it is very frustrating i have found if you are in a affilaite program, it probaly isnt anything you have done personally but what others have done in their business doing things not correctly, and paypal is a huge company they will protect their business and want proper procedures in place, probaly best to contact them to see if you can resolve the issue, i understand why people want to use paypal it is basically instant payment, all the others you need to wait a few days for payments to clear, we use paypal and other vendors, the one that comes with a great reputation like paypal, is stripe, similar set up put in your details, but when i trasnfer payments from stripe to my account, it might be 2 days or something, but that would be 2nd for me next to paypal, i hope you get your paypal sorted, thanks for sharing this question today.

  • I read a bit into that because I am not happy with Paypal (an don't ask why..) and typed in "review". The bad news is that all of them got pretty bad reviews. I actually think of adding cryto payment to our website. Have a look what others in your niche are doing. Because (we are a plant nursery) many of our peers just accept credit card payments that's it.

The OP has asked these questions:

Does your quickbuy function work with Stripe?

Don't you need an iphone for Apple pay? Payoneer might be an option, though for now, I'm going with Stripe...

And since the whole point of my question is that I no longer have access to PayPal, anything that requires it in any way is out.

TEN people recommended Stripe - but no one answered the questions asked.

PayPal is among the best but you could go for Stripe. Stripe has a very solid product but is unsupported in some countries. Luckily, Stripe is available in those countries you have mentioned. Those in unsupported countries could go for Stripe Atlas to be able to receive payments.

Stripe, Payoneer are 2 of some good payment methods. If you are selling services and billing based on monthly basis, you can also use Wise.com to transfer funds

Alternative payment solutions to Paypal for conducting global transactions and supporting digital products and services, invoicing, and pay buttons include:

    1. Stripe: Stripe provides a secure checkout and allows merchants to accept payments from anywhere in the world. It provides support for subscriptions, with features like automatic renewals, failed payment retries, and proration. Stripe charges 2.9% + 30 cents per successful transaction. Stripe is well-known in the UK, Canada, and Germany.

    2. Skrill: Skrill provides a low-cost international money transfer service and a digital wallet that allows users to store funds and make purchases online. Skrill charges 1.45% per transactions and the transfers are instant, allowing merchants to access payment immediately after a sale. Skrill has a strong presence in Europe and offers support in multiple languages.

    3. Payoneer: Payoneer provides a global payment solution with local bank transfers in over 150 currencies. Payoneer offers a variety of payment options for both businesses and individuals, including invoicing, recurring payments, and virtual accounts. Payoneer charges a fee based on the transfer amount, and fees can vary depending on the specific country. Payoneer is widely used in the UK, Canada, and Germany.

    4. Amazon Pay: Amazon Pay makes it easy for customers to use their Amazon accounts to make payments. It offers a secure checkout experience with a familiar interface, and is trusted by millions of Amazon customers. Amazon Pay charges 2.9% + 30 cents per transaction. However, Amazon Pay is only suitable for businesses selling on Amazon.

Stripe, Skrill, Payoneer, and Amazon Pay are all viable alternative payment solutions to Paypal for conducting global transactions, offering features such as support for subscriptions, low-cost international transfers, varied payment options, and a familiar interface. Merchants should compare each option's pricing structure to determine which solution fits their business needs best.

I'm sure there are others out there but as you know these all have millions of users and that does say something for each of them.
