Error 504 when sending private messages to other members
I personally apologise for the error and hassle this has caused you. We're investigating this issue, and I can everyone that this issue will be resolved, and that we will make sure this won't replicate again in the future.
For the time being, if a message fails to send and you are redirected to an Error 504 message, click on the back button (Alt + Left Arrow), copy the contents of your message, and try resending again. This works on my end (Ubuntu, Chrome).
