NewEgg Affiliate earnings VS NewEgg + Amazon

Hi guys does anyone has experience on promoting only NewEgg links for PC parts and how it compares to a combination of Amazon and NewEgg or Amazon only?

There is no big difference in commissions rate 3% VS 2,5% on Amazon but the big difference is that NewEgg Post-click period is 30 days and Amazon only 1 day.

Currently, I promote both Amazon and NewEgg links with Amazon links being first but I am considering changing it.

so if anyone has experience testing this it would be awesome!

    I guess the obvious question is why haven't you tested it both ways? 30 day cookie vs 1 day cookie would be worth the percentage difference since neither percentage is impressive.


    The question for most would be whether the 'trust factor' of Amazon would be enough to counteract the 24 hr cookie...with the reputation of Amazon for fast/easy returns/refunds. Shipping costs may also be a factor.



    But NewEgg is a trusted site - don't they pretty much match Amazon on pricing?

      yes, I am about to test it but it's a lot of work to change the links and it takes a lot of time to see if it's better so getting reassurance from someone who already tested it would be really helpful.

      Also checking the stats on NewEgg and seeing that around 80% of the earnings come after many days since someone clicked a link is really astonishing how ridiculously low the commission fees Amazon pays to their affiliates are compared to the real sales we drive to them

    NewEgg is 3% and Amazon 2,5% but this is not really a difference!

    NewEgg has a 30days post click cookie and Amazon 1day and on the other hand Amazon has the reputation of converting better so I am not sure which wins at the end
