Monetizing Cancer Blog

I've been battling prostate cancer for several years now and I have a desire to help other men who have prostate cancer.

I've been out of internet marketing for about 10 years.

What would be the best way to monetize a cancer blog?

    Hello!

There are several ways to monetize your blog.

I prefer to promote affiliate products, that way I do not have to
deal with the sale or any customer issues.

The products don't have to be related to what is on the website,
but it should be something that would interest your readers.

For example a website about the Mediterranean lifestyle could
promote weight loss or beauty products. If your site is targeted
to men you could promote muscle building or supplements.

Whatever you put on your site should be complementary and
    not come off as spammy.

If you feel you have enough of a customer base, just do a subscription based newsletter.

Newsletters are hot right now...and getting hotter.

No reason to spend all your time writing blog posts and hoping for readers...

get serious from the beginning if you have info others would love to read

You can monetize Google Adsense ads as well as other affiliate products. List your own products such as ebooks with a buy now button

It also depends on what helped you with your cancer. Did you use some form of product/treatment etc?

If so, there might be a possible way to promote such a product that helped you. This would be the easiest way to monetize such a blog.

However lets say what has helped you can't be promoted in any way or form (make sure you search all the affiliate platforms before you say it doesn't exist) then I would say do what monetize said - that might be a good alternative

You might want to consider influencer marketing. However, though, I don't really know if you got a big following or engaging content. It was not stated in the OP.
