There are few problems with hosting or sites that is not covered somewhere online. In this case a tutorial on Hostinger.com pops up - and the basic answer is:
    • 6 Ways to Fix "This Site Can't Provide a Secure Connection" Error
    • 1. Install an SSL Certificate
    • 2. Force an HTTPS Connection
    • 3. Reinstall the SSL Certificate
    • 4. Reset the SSL Cache and Clear Browser Cache
    • 5. Turn off the QUIC Protocol Support
    • 6. Check the Date and Time Settings

The mention of protocol would lead me to check #5 though I know little about it.
When using QUIC, users might also experience certificate errors....best practice may be to block QUIC. When it's blocked, QUIC has a failsafe to fall back to TCP. This enables SSL inspection without negatively impacting user experience.

It took me literally years online to realize I don't have to 'learn' or 'know' all the answers to tech issues. I only need to know how to effectively search for the answers I need...and the patience to follow the instructions I find.

If your host is using a FREE or "OPEN" SSL component, you may want to ask them to update

It may be a host issue

I've had similar issues before with adding new sites to CPANEL.
Always SSL issues within the first 24-48 hours.
    It typically resolves itself.
If not, your host can easily fix for you.

  • This error indicates a problem with the SSL/TLS encryption on the website, leading to an insecure connection. Check SSL certificate validity, server configurations, and ensure the correct protocol versions. Investigate potential issues with SSL/TLS configurations or certificates to resolve this security-related browsing error.

The "ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR" indicates an SSL/TLS issue. Ensure a valid SSL certificate is installed, check server SSL configuration, update the browser, clear cache, and verify firewall settings. Check server logs for errors and address mixed content issues. If problems persist, consult with the hosting provider or SSL issuer.

Encountering an ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR can be frustrating, but there are several steps you can take to resolve this issue. This error typically indicates a problem with the SSL/TLS handshake, which is essential for establishing a secure connection. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to fix the ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR:

    1. Check the URL and Browser:

    - Ensure that you have entered the correct URL in the address bar.

    - Try accessing the website using a different browser to rule out browser-related issues.

    2. Clear Browser Cache:

    - Cached data may sometimes cause conflicts. Clear the cache and try accessing the site again.

    3. Verify System Date and Time:

    - Incorrect date and time settings on your device can lead to SSL errors. Make sure your system's date and time settings are accurate.

    4. Update Browser:

    - Ensure that your browser is up to date. Outdated browsers may have compatibility issues with newer SSL/TLS protocols.

    5. Check SSL Certificate:

    - Verify that the SSL certificate for the website is valid and has not expired. Contact your hosting provider to renew or reissue the SSL certificate if necessary.

    6. SSL/TLS Protocols Configuration:

    - Ensure that your website server supports the latest SSL/TLS protocols. Configure your server to enable TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3, as older protocols may be deprecated.

    7. Firewall and Antivirus Settings:

    - Temporarily disable your firewall and antivirus software to check if they are causing the issue. If this resolves the problem, adjust the settings to allow secure connections.

    8. Check Server Configuration:

    - Review your server's SSL/TLS configuration settings. Make sure they align with the recommended best practices.

    9. Contact Hosting Provider:

    - If the issue persists, reach out to your hosting provider's support. They can assist with checking server logs and resolving any server-side SSL/TLS configuration issues.

    10. Redirect from HTTP to HTTPS:

    - Ensure that your website is correctly configured to redirect HTTP traffic to HTTPS. This can be done through your website's configuration files or content management system.

    11. Mixed Content Issues:

    - Check for mixed content issues where some elements on your website (like images or scripts) are loaded over HTTP instead of HTTPS. Update links to use HTTPS.

After implementing these steps, try accessing your website again. If the issue persists, it's recommended to consult with your hosting provider or web developer for more specific troubleshooting based on your server and website setup. Thanks Guysapk.com

3- Review server SSL/TLS configuration settings to ensure compatibility with secure protocols.
4- Examine server logs for SSL-related error messages, identifying and resolving specific issues.
5- Test the website on multiple browsers and update them to the latest versions.
6- Take assistance from the hosting provider's support team if unfamiliar with SSL configurations for a prompt resolution.
