Gift Swapping?

I was admiring a guys website online. He did a whole PLR website about magic, astrology, law of attraction etc. I thought that I would like to do something similar (but I do not know how). I asked him how he got his traffic. As I am getting a lot of organic traffic from facebook at the moment but not a single conversion into a sale. Having hundreds of landing page visits per month but no sales. He said he got the majority of his website traffic from gift swapping from similar online businesses. which he called trusted sources of traffic. I did not want to pry too much as I might be stealing business secrets and he might not like it. Anyways is there anybody who can explain to me how he used gift swapping. What it is and how he more than likely utitlized it in the scenario I explained above? Thanks

    Sorry - but that's silly. He was giving you advice and if he didn't want to tell you something, he wouldn't. Never hurts to ASK.


    Are you certain he said 'gift swapping' and not 'link swapping'?

    If you have GPT4 it may be able to analyze the site for you.
    Claude could do it also, it researched something online for
    me a few days ago.

    AI could also explain various business models to you as well
    as tell you how to set up something similar.

    Anything that you don't know, if you are stuck, or whatever,
    use AI to help you.

    If you are getting lots of traffic and no sales then you need
    to switch up whatever you are offering.

    I don't know why he said gift swapping.

    Learn the lesson. You should have asked if you didn't know what he meant. My guess is he expected a followup question - and you didn't ask it.

    Gift swapping ? Doesn't make a lot of sense and I would be leery of anyone who would use semantics like this as it pertains to traffic sources.

    Unless, maybe he means swapping your gift/free report as it relates to an optin gift?
    So you put his free gift on your Site with his capture form and vice versa

    Given the niche you described, REDDIT is your best bet for free traffic

    But

    You have to study the subreddits you want to market to so you can learn how to sway people's attention to brands without looking like a spammer

    no.. drive by link blasting is not an option
