Hi everyone, please do not feel embarrassed by this question of mine. I am not a newbie per se but my results is even worst than that of a newbie.

I need honest people to help me review these sites and tell me what they think am doing wrong

because am not yet allowed to post the link to the sites here at this moment, kindly look at my signature for the links to the sites

These sites were developed whit the intention of making some money for the fast approaching Xmas and a lot of mony and time invested in it yet to no avail.

Every information will be highly valued.

Keep adding content to the sites. The more content the better the traffic will be. Use social bookmarking to bring more visitors to your site as well

Thanks for the reply. But i think I already have some contents in those sites. Google have already indexed them and some traffic do come, but getting those traffics converted seem to be impossible
I have also been using social networks to drive traffic to the site

I had a quick look at your websites. I believe you need to think about what you are trying to achieve. Are you driving traffic to your website with the hope they will click on your side ads?

Perhaps you should look to developing a "process". For instance, you are giving a way a free book on motivation. I assume you are doing this to build a "list" and this is a step in the right direction.

Try and sell the ebook more and explain it a bit better, tell them why they need it and to fill in their name and email, tell them what to do.

In your articles tell them there is a free motivational ebook with more information.

You have completed the basics and got up a couple of interesting websites but now you have to give a bit of thought to what you are trying to acheive. Try and develop them into a "process" where you gently guide your visitor, nudging and pushing them to do what you want them to do.

        I hope this helps

        best wishes

Okay, I took a quick look at both of your sites, and here's what I see.

I totally get what the other folks who have chimed in are saying about needing a plan...the websites have some really good information, but they're not "focused," for lack of a better word.

What I mean by that is this: The TOPIC of the websites in question are easy enough to discern, but if you want to make money with it, then the topic and your offer need to have something to do with one another.

Think about your own web surfing experiences. How many times have YOU gone to a website about investing and bought web hosting or text books? (two of the offers on that site). Odds are, if you're on a site about investing, you're inclined (or may be inclined) to buy something that has to do with investing. Now, maybe that's an e-book, or a video course, or an enrollment in a stock trading company, or the Financial Times or something...the point is, each of THOSE offers directly relates to what you're talking about on your page, and that synergy will take you quite far in making some sales (and btw, your articles are quite good on the investing site...the title "Income Recycling Heals Generational Poverty" both caught my eye and proved to be an excellent read, so the raw materials are certainly in place!

The second site is on motivation, and it suffers from that same basic lack of focus that the first one does. Again, in your own surfing, have you EVER gone to a motivational type website to buy web hosting or Amazon gift cards? What sorts of things WOULD you be inclined to purchase from such a site? Answer that question (or better yet, start a squidoo lens ASKING that question in a poll and collect the results from a wider audience), and you'll be more than halfway there.

In both cases, the adsense is fine on the site, because Adsense is a bit of an odd bird in the IM universe. The whole IDEA behind adsense being that you want your visitors to leave (ie - click an ad), so what you're really doing is providing yourself a vehicle to profit from the folks who visit you but didn't find quite what they were looking for on your site.

Bear in mind that none of your ads/offers are optimally place for viewer response (golden triangle), but that's a tweak, not a fundamental flaw.

All told...you've got good material, and with some tweaks (better placement and more focus and synergy between your content and your offers), you can start making money.

Once those things are in place, it's just a matter of marketing to the keywords you're zeroed in on (and I'm assuming here that proper research has already taken place before you started building).

I really appreciate your useful advice. You really understood my problem. I was confused and later added adsense and followed by some amozon and hosting affiliate.
once again, thanks for the advice. I will try out some of the things you recommended and keep you posted

Glad I could help! It is an iterative process, so let me know when you've made some tweaks, and I'll be happy to take another look!
