payment processing for a website with high chargebacks?

You mentioned that you are a spammer in another thread. Spamming for adult sites with a 50% chargeback rate leaves you in absolutely impossible territory.

Card issuers have to keep their overall chargeback rate below 0.2%. If you have a 50% chargeback rate, thay have to have 250 customers who have absolutely no chargebacks to keep their contract with Visa/Mastercard.

To do that, they will want 6 month rolling reserves and 20%-50% of your charges as commission.

But then you through in "adult" and the stakes go even higher. A mistaken image or two puts you in the criminal category. No Visa/Mastercard provider works with criminals. If you have a long track record and very good processes for showing that you simply can't end up with criminal images (which an adult friend finder service can't do... they have to work with really low chargeback rates), then you might find an offshore provider for a high rate.

Now you throw spamming into the mix and you are in la la land. You don't have a viable business model. We're now talking about several crimes instead of several attempts to create a valid business model.

If you DO have the situation KristiDaniels mentioned, FORGET IT! A 50% chargeback rate? Lets say you charged $15/month and they had a $15 fee, you have just gone to basically NEGATIVE territory. And they will be dealing with this for NOTHING. Yeah, 50% is WAY too high. I think they were talking LOW 2 digits or even LOWER!

I was once called in (on another matter) to a business that had suffered 20 forced transaction and chargebacks with a well known UK bank. The bank wanted 2000 chargeback fees paying as a rolling deposit before letting them conduct any more transactions.

They were a pub btw.

What possible reason would someone want to get involved in a niche with high complaints and chargebacks?

I'm referring to you AND the payment processors.

Sounds like financial suicide to both.
