Usenet?

A simple question: Does anyone else here use usenet to market their products? If so, was it worthwhile?

    I do that. I have found some very popular groups and place my ads/products within .rar files that I offer up -- I am able to find stuff that people are looking for in these groups for free, I try to be the first to offer that specific request, and then when people download my "post" they open it up and I do end up getting some sales/leads/or whatever I was looking for.

    I am VERY surprised to see somebody ask about this. I thought I was one of the few people doing this. In my private writing collections, I have written quite extensively on this topic -- including sales figures and popularity according to the newsgroup/topic.

    This method is a very cheap -- though fairly time consuming (maybe 2 or more hours per day) -- way of getting some money on a daily basis.

    i thought usenet was from the 90's and just for porn? how can I view usenet groups? are you talking newsgroups? the only ones I see are adult oriented and pics and videos.
