IM seminars - is there a list somewhere?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew whether there was a list maintained on some website about all the different Internet Marketing seminars in the United States...

was thinking of attending a few, but I have no idea when / where they are happening..

    Yes Ron,

It would be nice to know, way in advance, when these will be happening. I've spoken with three people who do organize these seminars, and while they do plan events six to eight months in advance, they find people don't sign up until the last minute!

So most of the sign-ups take place a week or two before the seminar, and somehow because of that, the planners don't announce the seminars until about six weeks before.

Well, that certainly doesn't help anyone who needs to plan six months in advance because of work, or family, other commitments, or travel from another part of the world.

As I remember Armand Morin's Big Seminar will be held early November 2010. Google it, and you may be able to plan for that one now. It's the only one I know about at the moment. I am sure there are more, and others here can chime in.

Maybe we can make our own list.

BTW There is another forum here at the WF about Events. Sometimes event listings show up in there.

      Thanks Don...

      will check out that section...

But I do agree with you..it would be highly valuable to get a list of seminars as and when they are announced....would be useful for people to start planning for it..

He is right, outside the IM niche, they dont plan it more then a month or two in advance. One of my websites (Seminar Insiders | Professional Development Seminars | Personal Development Seminars | Seminar Directory), we have streamlined it to big speakers since we cannot work with only 2-3 week notices and keeping business 90%completely automated. So we got rid of the smaller guys.

You will just have to keep an eye out here

    Cheers,
    Mukul

Is anyone attending the Stompernet Live 9 event in Atlanta towards the end of this month? You can see the details here:

    StomperNet LIVE9 | March 25th - 28th | W Hotel, Midtown Atlanta, Georgia
    (non affiliate link)

I was dying to attend that seminar, just to find out a plane ticket itself already costs $500+.

Seminars are easily the best way to meet a ton of high successful people and build the up your network to the top. I was lucky enough to meet some awesome people at the couple that I have been to.

Seminars are nice, but I like Masterminds WAY better. Usually at seminars, you meet people, exchange contact information, go home and forget all about each other.

With masterminds, you have time and motivation to get to know people better.

You're meeting and working with more serious people to begin with (if you're attending an expensive, paid mastermind). And in my experience, as you interact with highly motivated, intelligent and committed-to-success entrepreneurs like yourself, you develop skills and profitable relationships much faster than just attending seminars and networking there.

Not at the moment. But if you have a favorite Internet Marketing Guru/Coach/Teacher that offers a paid mastermind, sign up.

I don't think it works to just get together with some other marketers without paying dues and without a more experienced person to teach and moderate.

Paying dues and having a moderator everyone looks up to makes a huge difference. At least it did for me.
