*Must Read* Motivation, Persistence and Goals - The Key To being Successfull?

I find it funny how no matter what Internet marketing forum you are surfing on you will always find these type of threads:

How to increase traffic?
How to make more money?

Why is it so many people want to increase their traffic? Why is it so many people want to make more money?

Because they want a better life.

They read all these Internet marketing eBooks on "Learn how I made $568,506,506 in 24 hours" and whilst they are waiting for the confirmation email with the answer to their prayers, they are nervous, hopeful and motivated. Yet when they either realise it is too much work, too repetitive, too expensive, not informative enough or whatever else they never take action.

There is always an excuse an alibi which stops them in their tracks before they have even started.

Why is it so many people are looking for this quick get rich scheme, it doesn't exist. The quickest get rich scheme we have probably had in the last 30 years is the .com boom and we all know how that ended.

OK...I am getting a little side-tracked now.

Basically, why is it people are always searching for answers that they already know the answer to.

How do you get more traffic? You work harder.
How do you make more money? You work harder.

Its that simple.

The majority of successful people in the world had to work hard to get to where they are today. They came across many failed attempts, periods of time where they wasn't their normal energetic selves, instead they were de-motivated and fed up but they pushed through and persisted.

Persistence is the key.

If you want to be successful in life and this doesn't just apply to Internet marketing but life in every single sense, then persist.

With persistence success is inevitable.

With persistence, hard work and a plan/strategy/idea of how you will make your riches one day you will be rewarded for your hard efforts.

We all have problems motivating ourselves from time to time, whether it be financial issues, family problems, health problems, being faced with failure too many times or just lack of ambition but you just have to push through, persist.

Create a plan, a year long plan and break it down in to stages. A goal for the end of the year, broken down in to monthly aims or even weekly aims can help keep motivation high, can help maximise your output and can help keep you on the right path, the path to success.

So what do we have now...

We have persistence, goals, motivation and working your ass off!

That's all you need folks!

Going back to something I mentioned earlier about working harder, I would like to ask how many of you here feel that you work your ass off? You feel that each day you put 100% in to each task you complete? Everyday you wake up and use 100% of your time efficiently?

I know I don't, heck I am writing this thread instead of doing a to-do list that has grown to over 50 things which in total will probably take two weeks to complete!

But we all need a break and that's another thing to consider. For those who answer with "yes, I do feel that I put in 100% each day" then take a break!

100% working output is just too much, each day you should be working closer to 90% output each day and have at least one day off per week or at least one day where you only work at 40/50% output.

Spend time with you're family, friends, socialize, keep fit, look after yourself, its important! And seriously working all the time doesn't help at all!

For those who answer "No, I don't put half as much effort in as I should do". Why not?

And if you need help to motivate yourself, take a look around you, your closest friends, your family, what would you like for them? What would you like for yourself?

I believe one of the biggest reasons most people don't work hard enough is because there is no pressure. No boss breathing down your neck, although the majority of time having a boss is annoying they do make you do your work when push comes to shove.

Most of us are too comfortable with our lives, its only when we are forced to put things in to action that we do. So, imagine yourself in debt, imagine yourself having nothing, imagine yourself not having enough money to put your kids through college, to give your partner the wedding she wants, to purchase the car you want, to buy the house you want, to pay your bills...whatever it is!

This will help motivate you to get your ass moving and to do more work!

Right so OK, I am going to finish it here or else I might end up making half you who read this fall asleep which is the total opposite to what I want!

Remember: Persistence, goals, motivation, working your ass off is what you need to be successfull.

    I totally disagree.

Case in point: the American dream. If most Americans work so damn hard all their lives, why are most of them not financially well off?

Also, what if one were to persist at the wrong thing?

You should know when to stick, but also when to quit.
