Clickbank Tracking Issues...What's going on?

For one Clickbank product I am promoting it shows that it's no hop count tracking for that product, but for the same product for the order form impression count it shows 3.

I do not understand how the order form impression count for that product shows 3, but it shows no hops there being tracked.

Here is something I read someone else mentioning almost the same issue. Here is what they wrote on another forum > My sales have been normal (actually even better than I expected) but no data is showing up in my graphs. Shows I have no hops but I am getting transactions daily. Weird... wish they would fix it.

That is what someone wrote on a different forum about the same issue with no hop counts for the product, but in my case it's no hop counts (0) for the product stats but only the order form impression count shows (3) being tracked.

I do not understand how it's showing 3 order form impression counts and 0 hop counts for the product. This is the first time I noticed this happening.

What is the issue here? Has this happened to you all before? Also do I need to contact Clickbank?

Clickbanks stats are always going to be off. I don't really trust their analytics that much. As long as you are seeing sales then you should be ok.

To make sure that your sales stay steady for a while, make sure you are in more than one niche. The reason why is because some niches will go through dry spells while others will will be unloading boat loads of cash into your pocket.

When promoting clickbank make sure you are promoting a variety of markets so that your sales do not dry up so drastically.

I am having the opposite problem lately. On one product I'm promoting I am seeing more than average order form impressions, probably due to the vendor's redesigned sales page, but virtually no sales. Last week I got 32 impressions, which would have historically resulted in 3 - 5 sales, but I got none. I realize that 32 is not a very large sample size, and may, in fact be too small to draw a valid conclusion. It just seems strange not to get any sales after that many people have clicked through to the order page, when in the past it would be highly unusual for even 10 visitors to get there without at least one of them ordering something. It is possible that the visitors are coming from a different place, but I don't see that from my analytics.

      Problem #1

Yesterday I had someone try to buy something and the stats showed order form submit count for a different product but no sale came through.

I assume their payment information was not correct so for that situation I decided to not contact Clickbank, but you let me know if I need to contact Clickbank about that as well, and let me know if you all experienced that problem.

      Problem #2

I decided earlier to click my own link for a different product 2 times to see if those stats would show for hop count and it did show 2 times for that product.

I made sure my affiliate id showed at the bottom of the order form page too.

I decided to take a snap shot before I did that of the proof that it was showing (0) for the hop count and (3) order for impression counts for that product which is very strange.

After clicking my own link 2 times after experiencing that, now stats show (2) hop count and (3) order form impression count. Before clicking my own link twice, it was very weird earlier for it to show (0) for hop count and (3) order form impression count.

It makes no sense, because someone had to click the link and those stats should have shown up in hop count stats.

No one can just skip over hop count (link) and go directly to order form page. Those stats were very strange.

I never made a sale from that product anyway, so I may stop promoting it.

Have you all ever experienced having a (0) hop count for a product and having other stats show for that product. Such as it showing number stats for the order form impression count and other columns, etc.

I notice sometimes Clickbank is doing maintenance, but it still makes no sense to me for it to have shown (0) hop count stats for that product and (3) order form impression count stats for the same product in that row.

Do you all think I need to contact Clickbank about this weird tracking issue. Please give more feedback on this situation. Thanks.
