Linkbuilding - WHO to TRUST????

Hi Warriors

The secret sauce of IM is in most peoples eyes the quality of the links to your site.

That being said which services are the ones that work and which ones don't?

Also, in terms of Trusting the linkbuilder to "do the right thing" and create a future nightmare for your sites - Who Do You Trust???

    Suzy has a one eyed dog grooming and glass eyeball site . As she is seeking to expand her business, she finds herself surfing the net , looking for "Dawg" hearing aids .

    Over on the right hand side of Google search , big blue letters promise Suzy instant overnight riches . She clicks on a link and is surprised to learn she can , not only get rich in only three days , she don't ever need to get out of her pajamas again.

    Now Suzy is no fool. Realizing the site she is one is an out and out scam, she clicks off . Still.....

    The make money online bug now can testify ... Suzy doesn't taste like chicken.

    To make a long story a little shorter , Suzy stumbles upon my site . The first thing she reads on my page explains to her that if she wants me to train her , she better be ready to work... a lot .

    Suzy is so impressed by my site and straight up demeanor that she goes to her site and links to my site from her index .

    A one eyed "dawg" grooming site has linked to my Training site .

    Will Google banish me ... doubt it .

    Will they dish out punishment in any form. Some of you will never believe not . That's cool... works for me .

    My train of thought dictates : Google Spiders Suzy's site and follows a link from her index to my site .

    The link string stops at my site .

    Google sees this unrelated link as a vote of confidence . This link's footprint stops at my site . This is not a link I solicited . This is a link given freely .. no strings attached .

    It does not take many Suzy's to watch a site rise in the rankings .

    I reviewed a couple of social bookmarking clubs here: Buy Backlinks - Review of Best Backlink Services that are a great source of backlinks.

    I use a bunch of different services. I just started linkaloha to test them out. I also have some programs that I use. I used to use SENuke all the time but I got tied up with other projects and haven't been using it much lately.

    I've also had some people run xrumer blasts for me with limited results. I've had linkwheels created for me, squidoo lenses, hubpages, etc.

    The social bookmarking clubs have given me the best bang for my buck so far with the exception of hitting that right keyword hubpage.

    Google made some changes last month that hurt a bunch of my rankings so I'm retesting things to see what works best.

      Thanks for the great feedback and suggestions.

      Looks like you've at least got the experience to comment given all of the things that youhave either tried or are using.

      Also, the point about Google changing the rules is important as that often changes the approach and thats where the testing comes in.
