How does one start a successful afilliate program?

Hi all. Can anyone please tell me how does one start a successful affiliate program? Are there any courses on this please? Where do you advise i look up this information? It seems like a VERY big part of a lot of Internet Marketers success comes from them owning a product/service and having many affiliate's market/sell for them. Is this right?

        Jimmy retired his sales army secrets course. Before he did, he sold a few PLR licenses. You'll have to track down someone who bought the rights. Try Googling "Sales Army Secrets" and see if you can find one of the licensees selling it as is.

          Building affiliate sales is definitely important... whether you are using the clickbank (or similar) platform or doing it yourself.

          The key component of being able to attract top affiliates is to have a proven product and proven sales funnel. Top affiliates want to know how well your product is converting. And what the return rate is. (Many will also want to see the product first to be sure it is something they want to promote to their list.)

          Offering quality sales materials to affiliates is also important.

          While many top affiliates will use their own words/materials, sales materials help the mid and low tier affiliates quite a bit.

          You can get some ideas on sales materials by finding some top rated clickbank products and look at what they offer their affiliates.
