Staying the course does work!

INTERNET MARKETING

Our new website has been up just since the end of April and business has slowly been picking up. I have learned a lot here as well as from other reading that I do. I have written two successful ezine articles and today I see someone has followed the link from one of them to our website

Our site is SEO'd and it comes up pretty high on google. I have advertised on kijiji and backpage with good results. Of course I'd like more sales but the fact that people are looking is encouraging. I have a facebook page, as well as one on squidoo and hubpages. Collectively all of these things do drive traffic to our site.

I have never felt like giving up because I know our product works and it takes time to build any business. I am really pleased with the way things are going for us, slow and steady wins the race. So to any newbies out there who are frustrated that they arent getting rich overnight, well that's not how it works. Hang in there! Learn and do what you can. Dont give up! All good things come to those who wait, and have something worthwhile to sell :p

Congrats with your progress as well as your mindset!

A lot of newcomers to IM have the toughest time accepting the the fact that even in in a medium that is so instant, you still have to take the time to test, measure, and tweak to get the best results for your business!

Well done Funkynassau on your success and sticking with it.

It is a fact that most newcomers come into this business thinking it's a fast fix to making money and I include myself in that.

I have wised up at last and have realised from posts like this, that you have to stick with it and do something each day, but mostly not to give up.

  I really dont understand people who think they will get rich overnight without expending much or any effort. Nothing worth having ever works that way.
  
  We do have a good mindset, and I think that will carry us far. We also have a son taking business marketing in college, and he's got all sorts of interesting ideas and theories he loves to bounce off of us!

Yeah having the right attitude is much more important than knowledge or handwork. A retiring VP of sales at a comp at worked at sat me down one day and ask me of the three which did I think was the most important. He as me to write out A-Z with 1-26 corresponding to each letter a=1 and so on. It turns out attitude equals 100 , hence 100%

Im glad your having success. There are so many offers telling us we need to do this or that to earn 1000s of dollars in 4 hours etc. Its refreshing to hear of someone being happy to go slow! Relax, do the work, take it easy, enjoy the profits!

What a great attitude! I'm glad to hear you're making some strides. So many people give up because they didn't get rich in 4 days like the gurus promised they would. It sounds like you've got alot of faith in your business and yourself...with confidence like that, you can't go wrong!

You need to fix the following to get more SEO ranking.

Fix your homepage's Title tag.
At the very least you need <title>ChipFixx | Paint Chip Repair</title> in the title tag. If you know there's a better keyword than Paint Chip Repair, use it. I think it's your "money" keyword...but you probably know better.

This page: How to Touch Up Your Car ChipFixx, probably needs the title tag <title>How to Repair Car Paint Chips</title> or <title>How to Touch Up Car Paint Chips</title>.

Bottom line: whatever your major keyword is, use it in the Title in some useful way. Don't spam the title, though by repeating the keyword.
