Just curious...

When you're introduced to a new blog, do you prefer it to already have several entries posted with valuable info or would one or two VERY intriguing posts that encourage you to check back every week for a new entry?

Hmmm...I hope that makes sense  lol

In a nutshell, do you prefer a more established blog where you can get an abundance of info on your first visit, or a more "new" style blog that builds momentum about entries and info to come?

I prefer a well established blog especially if it is on a specific area of interest to me. This allows me to get the current information from the most recent blog post and also go back and find other valuable tidbits that kinda fill in the whole picture. That being said I'll take one or two very informative blog posts over a dozen useless entries that offer little to no information.

Established, for sure. I tend to go on a post-reading binge when I discover a blog I like, and if it's a new blog, I figure there's a strong chance the blogger will just abandon or forget about it. Less chance of that happening with an established blog.

A well established blog you can get new info in both all good bloggers, or webmasters always update their content a few times a week at the minimum. It makes no difference if the blog is new or established as far as reading a few good posts.

And the more content I can read the better 1 or 2 posts just do not cut it. I have 200 plus posts on my blog and growing. You just have to stick with your game plan and keep updating especially if it is a blog.

This all depends on what I'm looking for.

For example; If I'm searching for certain information in Google and I click on something that looks interesting and it brings me to a blog post, as long as that post has the info that I'm looking for, then I'm not going to waste my time searching the rest of that blog/site.

If on the other hand, I'm directed to a particular blog via an article, bookmark, rss feed, etc, then I'm probably going to spend some time checking that site out to see what it's about.
