Can you review my site and tell me what I am doing wrong?

I have this autoblog setup called moviestvseries. c 0 m

I try to monetize it using adsense.

Can you give any suggestions on how I should go about the ff:

1. Bringing traffic. - Right now it's just 60+ visitors/day. I have 2 videos on youtube and that's it.

2. Monetizing - Do you think I should stop using adsense because of the risk for autoblogs? What other options do I have to monetize it?

Should I just scrap the site concept and think of a new one? Currently I just want a site that lists down celebrity news and gossip plus updates on movies and tv series. Nothing illegal like movie streaming and the like.

Should I go that way (streaming content filtered through a content gateway). What gateways can you suggest?

Thanks!

  • Hi there,

You can bring traffic by submitting articles to Ezine. But I would suggest SEO for the long term.

For the adsense question, I think you should keep it. If you intend to flip the site, (sell it at Flippa.com for example) I think that you can sell your site for quite a good profit. In general your site is worth 10 to 15 times your monthly income.

    • always add in some of your own unique content in the form of articles or text below and above the autoblogged articles
  • Nice site. Which autoblogging tool are you using?

Also, a possible way to monetize it would be to use leadbolt. I've read a couple of very good things about them. Check out this thread - http://www.warriorforum.com/ad-netwo...JIegTNLpa86T22
  • I would stick to the adsense and build unique content with the auto blog, keep doing seo and you will start seeing results soon.

  • Traffic all the way with articles and backlinking.

Think you need lots of original content as well. Then maybe you could begin to sell some Amazon DVDS and film stuff

    • I would focus on making the site look more natural and trustworthy. Most web surfers are at this point, basically programmed to tune out spammy looking advertising sites - especially those that provide little value.
  • If you want to make a legit site, I'd get rid of ads right at the top; and make it clear what you're about--I couldn't tell right away.

    • you have nice site

how are you monetizing your site btw?
  • Totally agree with bitriot. Surfers ignore a spammy site. Not saying yours is. But remember WIIFM. Provide great, entertaining content for your reader. Have a guest blogger that might appear every now and then...make people laugh.
