[Guide] Every Article Earns $1 per Day, EVERY Day. Time to Give Back to WF

I've been in IM for a long time and watched it transform from 'easy' search engine manipulation paydays to where we are today which in my opinion is akin to the California gold rush of the 1850's. As they say, "there's gold in them there hills!!"

Ive been an active member on WF for a number of years and I have definitely taken far more out than I've put in. I've enjoyed a good level of success in IM and I attribute a large amount of that to what I've learned in these pages. So now I want to give back and will do my best to answer as many questions as I can about my business.

For this purpose I've started a new profile as it would be VERY easy from my 'real profile' to locate parts of my virtual real estate and reverse-engineer the sites. While I'm in a generous mood, I'm in no mood to give away the whole farm or retire from IM just yet

Anyway, as and when I have time, I will describe a few of my better strategies that should be easy for new IM'rs to implement. I'm also confident that even the most seasoned of marketing pro's will be able to pick out some gold nugget tricks and tip .

I use a good number of tools and have benefited from some excellent services but I won't mention anything by name on this thread. This isn't intended to be self (or otherwise) promotional. Feel free to email me if you have any specific questions:

Every Article Earns $1 per Day, EVERY Day

One of the most consistent earners in my business is Article Marketing. I realize that there is a ton of information (and mis-information) out there on this but I've now got to a position that I can pretty much guarantee that after allowing a brief 'maturing' period, each article we submit to our choice of major Article directories will earn approx $1 per day, every day.

Now, over the next few posts I'll go into a lot more detail about the exact steps we do to achieve this but in essence, it is a combination of:

1. topic selection;
2. article format (we have a consistent format developed from the A.I.D.A formula)
3. copywriting. This is essential. By spending that little extra time to get your article from the "good" into the "great" category, you will dramatically improve your results.
4. sales funnel, traffic diversion (we monetize our article traffic in a number of ways, depending on the topic. Some articles consistently plod along at $1 per day, whereas others in different topics are more "lumpy", fewer revenue generating events, but worth a higher $$ value). The end result is the same when viewed over a period of days/weeks, a consistent revenue stream.

I hope to get some more time to add to this thread over the next few days. Until then, you can either PM, email or post on the thread any particular questions/topics you'd like me to answer.

WF - I love you!!

BB

Sounds good! I get the impression you are using articles for the actual traffic rather than for SEO purposes? So is it about funneling traffic from a ton of articles around a specific topic into one site, or is it gazillions of mini niches each sending a few clicks to different sites? Or something more elaborate, like linking between your own articles in some huge great link-wheel of doom!?

Would love some general hints - I am quite strong on article writing but wondering what the best way is to monetise that. I am certainly not selling my articles to others for $5, that much I know I have tried using article marketing and bulk submissions for getting backlinks, i.e. for SEO for my niche sites etc., but the jury is still out on the effectiveness of that for me...

What you call a 'maturing' period, your article will probably get syndicated a lot as they are good quality articles and isn't that where the 'secret' lies.

What sort of techniques do you use to promote your articles?

I would definitely be interested in learning more. I am a good writer, but not so good with the sales funnel stuff, which is why I write for others. If you decide to do a WSO on this, or can point me to one that teaches the process, I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks.

You really summed up my problems as well. I can write good content just fine but developing a great article that demands people to buy what I'm selling, man do I need help with that!

How are you earning this, are you monetizing the articles with adsense or do you have it linking to an offer?

We use articles for actual traffic, rather than SEO. We have a huge number of SEO type domains that utilize article marketing as part of a structured backlinking process, but that's a separate part of my business and probably worthy of a separate thread! This part of my business stands alone. Its profit comes from articles and we don't let any of that traffic 'leak' onto our SEO-type sites. Likewise, we don't push SEO traffic onto our "Article" monetization sites - we did for a while but found that the different traffic types (organic/seo vs article) respond differently to different sales process.

I missed the first gold rush.
Me too. I wish I had been there!

I am a good writer, but not so good with the sales funnel stuff, which is why I write for others.
The Sales Funnel plays a massive part in the process and getting it right makes a huge difference to your ROI and bottom-line. I'll try and do a full explanation of the sales funnel process later on. It will be a large post.

How are you earning this, are you monetizing the articles with adsense or do you have it linking to an offer?
Adsense. I have such mixed feelings about Adsense! Its a great 'easy' short term fix for monetization, while you work on more profitable angles. But in the long run its just not that profitable. Worked correctly into your sales/monetization funnel, other offers such as affiliate sales, other commissions and CPA offers are much more profitable and consistent!

As an aside - given this is a new profile, I can't PM people back until this thread grows a bit. In the meantime, feel free to email any questions to:

    bbooldin[at]gmail.com

and I'll try and get back to you. This is such an insane Forum, its so popular and helps so many people that I've already got a ton of emails sent asking for help. I guess people really want to know how to tweak their article marketing approach!! I hope I'm up to the task!!

[Off Topic] bbooldin, curiosity got the best of me, how does one go about starting a new WF profile? Can you share the exact steps, please?

You just log out and then click on the "Register" tab and create an account with a different username and email address.

However, it's not something that's encouraged around here, because some people create multiple accounts for deceptive reasons -- so they can post fake testimonials in their own WSO threads, etc.

So it's something to be careful with. Any hint of impropriety and you could be permanently banned.

Thanks Ken! Actually, I know the process. My question was more rhetorical in nature. It seemed odd to me that the OP would create a new profile solely for the purpose in which he stated.

My thinking was, "Why not just remove all of his sites/links from his SIG? Or how about not put them in his SIG in the first place if he was concerned about someone engaging in reverse engineering. Or, he could have changed his profile and PIC and plus remove the links in his SIG." But that's just me.

Call it me being a skeptic based on past experiences with these types of threads.

Anyways, we'll see where this one goes.

Now that you mention it... his other Warrior account was only created seven months ago, and only has seven posts to date, so not quite the "number of years" of participation that he implies.

There's only one link in his other sig, and it has nothing to do with what he's talking about here. So I don't know why he felt the need to create a new profile either. At least he was upfront about the fact that he did. But still kind of odd.

I usually monetize my articles with CPA offers, (usually email submits) I never monetized an article with adsense so I don't really know how much money I'm leaving on the table

    Hi BB,

First off, Congratulations on the success, and thanks for giving back to the community here.

I have a question though... When using AdSense, what work would it involve after writing the article and building some backlinks? Please help us with your inputs.

    Thanks

Not to be too negative, but I find this an interesting post. The original anonymous poster hasn't really presented any meaningful or "valuable" content yet, and keeps asking people to PM and email him.

Sounds more like someone doing market research or trying to build a list for their new ebook than someone genuinely interested in helping people. I guess we'll see which one it is ...

OP - instead of continuing to ask people to PM and email you, how about you just post some helpful info already? I mean, you said that's why you started the thread ...
