I can see the landing page now.

Wait... Before you can see these totally awesome videos you need to uninstall Adobe flash and then reinstall... It's just that easy.

Any one else having these problems with the new version coming out? All these videos were made with the old version and now it seems like they upconverted all of our videos on our server. How would that happen. These videos are done and out of camtasia and sitting on our server. How did they upconvert.

Causes

1) be sure that all of your produced files have been uploaded to your webserver. If any files are missing, this error message will display.

2) This error can occur when producing a SWF or MP4 file in version 6 of Camtasia while unchecking the "Loading Movie" check box under Flash Options-->Controls tab. One workaround would be to produce to express show.

3) This error message can occur in some web browsers if there are any non-alphanumeric characters in the file name, markers or metadata of the video.

4) There was a known issue in an earlier release of Camtasia Studio v3.x that generated the incorrect code when producing to Flash. This may cause this error even if the current Flash player is installed.

Resolutions

This issue was fixed in version 3.1.2. Please install the current version of Camtasia Studio and reproduce the video.

Additionally, we have had some reports from customers that this error continues to occur after updating Camtasia Studio to v3.1.2. Based upon information in an Adobe Flash TechNote, you may need to fully uninstall and reinstall the Flash Player to resolve the problem. Click here for the instructions from Adobe.

If you are getting this error with an Express Show video produced in Camtasia version 5.0.0, please contact support.

More Information

We have seen a few cases where the upgrade from v4.0.0 to v4.0.1 did not properly overwrite the Flash template files. As a result this error will be generated when viewing newly produced videos because the HTML pages are not using the new v4.0.1 templates. If you have recently upgraded to v4.0.1 and are now experiencing this error, please uninstall and reinstall Camtasia Studio v4.0.1 to ensure you have the current templates installed. To uninstall Camtasia Studio, please use the Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs applet.
