I need Honest Reviews of my website please

I work for a small business marketing firm and my partner and I built this e-tools website but it is not preforming as well as we would like, we have put a lot of work into it but wonder if there is something about this site we just do not see.

I am asking for some of you to look it over and let me know if it looks good, flows right, etc..

What do you love? What do you not like about the design?

Thanks in advance.

NOTE: I AM aware there are a couple broken links I plan to fix those. I am also looking for an overall impression, yes it has links to affiliate products but that's not my point here. I really need to get some feedback im not fishing for cash.. obviously people here.. we are in the same ballgame so I know you guys can see this site with a critical eye, and thats exactly what I need! Thanks!

I really like it. My first thought was that there were too many categories and that you were trying to cover too much. After looking it over a little more I changed my mind. I can understand your goals.

There is an awkward sentence that could possibly be edited:

"Getting the word out with help and is easier than ever with these marketing tools, tips, and resources."

Great overall look and feel from my viewpoint.

    Victoria,i like your site!
You have choosen the green color that converts well!
Just a little graphic advice: try to make the word "sbet"(of "sbet features" with a dark blue,or also you could try to implement the yellow color...Yellow and green are colors that convert very well!
This is based on my experience!

    Hi Victoria

First of all let me say I’m from Yorkshire, which means we say what we mean and aren’t good on protecting people’s feelings!

I’m also not one for writing 10 words when one will do.

I’m really surprised the site is converting at all, there is no compelling headlines, no benefits, only features, no value for the customer/client, no lead capture in place.

The whole site is cluttered and doesn’t really give a USP or define what it’s trying to do.
Your main image is so large that it’s about the only thing above the fold.

You really need to look at your whole strategy, what’s your USP, what’s in it for your customers, what do they need to do to make more money.

Business aren’t interested in coupons, they are interested in how to get more customers through the door and make more money, benefits not features.

Sorry if you think I’m harsh just my opinion.

    Kind regards
    John

My eyes couldn't find a place to focus. All features, no benefits. What exactly do you want the viewer to do? You need to narrow this down to one main benefit for your reader to proceed.

"Tools, Information, and Coupons for Your Business" For what?
"Over 95 Quality Hand Picked Companies" So what's in it for me?
"Over 300 Business Coupons" What do I do with those?

    Things I like:
    1. The layout - It looks great! Very professional looking as soon as you hit the page and lots of specific categories down below.

    Things I DON'T like:
    1. Social Toolbar - Personally, I HATE those toolbars that are at the bottom of the website, but that is just me.
    2. Newest Updated - Either slow it down or get rid of it. It provides a distraction that I really don't like.
    3. The Share Bar - The button in the top right kind of looks out of place to me. I would rather have a few icons in place of that (FB, Twitter, etc.).

Overall, your site looks really nice!

Visually, it's attractive. I agree with comments about the update bar - it's distracting and adds nothing to your message.

As far as content goes, I tend to agree with John Pawlett. Unless I'm coming to the site pre-sold on the idea of finding a tool I need on the site, there's not much of a reason to dig deeper. And if I'm coming based on a pre-sell, I should be taken directly to the tool or area where I can find it.

There are a couple of ways you can go here, IMO...

      > You could go with more of an e-commerce format with featured tools, highlighted specials, etc.

      > You could go with more of a story type intro, maybe following a fictitious company from basic idea to profitable venture. Highlighting the use of your tools, of course.

The foundation is there, but the curb appeal needs work...
