My Ongoing Strike To Success! :)

Hello warriors ,

I've been questioning my internet marketing career for a while now. I came into this business thinking it was gonna be very easy and I will make money in a few days after my site being up. The harsh reality struck me and I felt I was a failure. I discussed my problems with peoples who have been in this business for a long time and realized that internet marketing takes time and hard work to even get 10cents.

I've been told the first site is always the hardest to squeeze money out of but once you get with the flow, your in. Anyway, I was going through my bad phase but managed to get back and keep the hard work to make some revenue. I've added adsense to my site, completely remade my landing page and now I'm just waiting for revenue. I'm an affiliate for Dub Turbo, a 30$ software that does what a 300$ could. I want you guys to tell me what you think and what I should change/improve.

Here is the site: Dub Turbo Pro Beats

Thank you and Happy New Years!!!

That is a very good looking site. IMO I would go with either a Clickbank offer OR Adsense... Not both. The Adsense ads may take away from hop clicks. I never got into real Clickbank product promoting, just not my forte.

I would use the same principal as an Adsense/Review site. The only EXTERNAL links from your page should point to the Clickbank hop. If someone visits your page and clicks an Adsense ad, sure you'll get paid... But how much? Is it worth taking away from the product your site is designed to promote?

How are you promoting the site and getting traffic?

Just my 2cents, but like I said the site looks very good!

    CHEERS!

As for my promoting, I don't really know what to do. I've tried facebook and payed 10$ for like 60 clicks. I sent an article to ezine article and still waiting for it to be approved. Youtube and im trying to find some forums to try and promote my product, but I dont know any. Youtube isnt working that good either, only about 50 views in like1 month but to b honest haven't really payed much attention. I payed today 15$ for like 10000 visitors with non unique ID's. Just thought I was gonna try see what happens. What else can i Do to increase traffic or improve it?

Well you're doing good. You're trying different things which is KEY. Like I said I got started with those Adsense mini sites/review sites/product sites... Whatever you want to call them. Instead of Adsense ads, some people use Amazon ads, commission junction, etc. Those are places that give you commission rips on selling tangible goods.... Clickbank strictly digital.

I would highly suggest targeting only ONE of the above mentioned per site: a Clickbank product site, Amazon products review site, Adsense site...

You don't want to devalue your website by giving your web users too many options.

I've never used paid traffic so I can't give you any input there. I typically don't stray too far from the Adsense/SEO forum b/c of all the rants and sales pitches people loiter the main forums with. I suggest doing your homework. Try to find a smaller, not so highly competitive niche/product and target specific keywords. You can use free tools - one of the best available period is simply going to be the http://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

You can't beat free traffic from the search engines. That's how I do what I do. You could try to find one awesome domain and create a master review site! Seen that work successfully several times! Build yourself some authority and own the niche! Lol!

Everything regarding IM/SEO/SEM takes TIME... ESPECIALLY when first starting out. So, if you do not have the patience and work ethic you'll bomb fast. I did. Then I tried again.

Try different styles of sites. Dabble in SEO/SEM Keyword Researching, product review sites, etc. There's a PLETHORA of information in these forums and UNLIMITED amounts of examples and other peoples sites that you can look at.

I shouldn't show you this but I will... What they gonna do ban me again?! Lol! An example of an uber simple review site regarding clickbank products... That somehow "made it." I got LOTS of ideas from seeing this simple site. The site was built as a test by Allen Says a couple years back... Self Help Insider

        CHEERS!
        Sorry I rambled.

Is there a reason there are two "Home" buttons on the first page?

Other than that I like it, as it looks like a great affiliate site.

Was going to say the same thing. Looks like a solid affiliate site, but I would get rid of that extra "home" button on the top.

thank you guys, I'm currently working on it, I dont know how to get rid of the 2nd home button.

Scott G, what do you suggest I do? This is my first website so I'm testing to see what works better. Do you think my next site should be a review of a product but no affiliate link and more adsense ads?

        Thank you

    Hey,

The reason you have two "Home" links in the navigation is because you created a new page titled Home in Wordpress and had it set as the Homepage, what i suggest you do is create a new page template specifically for the homepage, this can be done easily.

    Pages « WordPress Codex

Creating a Static Front Page « WordPress Codex

With the new page template i would also suggest removing the new comment element.
