how to market?!
Hello fellow warriors, my name is Felix, and I've been browsing the forums for some time now absorbing plenty of info. My main problem is that I have what you guys like to call "analysis paralysis". I'm a prime example of it. I've been looking into all these great ideas and haven't done a thing about it which I hate myself for.
So the reason for my post today is to ask a question. I know that i haven't put any input in any discussions yet, the reason for that is because I always get so involved in reading the excellent information I come across and I get stuck reading.. for days at a time. So, I like to think that I have a good knowledge of how the world of IM works but I haven't done anything about it which is sad.
Now onto my question.. I have a friend who is starting a website for local ny actors, directors, and writers to meet and network with each other, and when he explained his idea I loved it and told him I have some basic knowledge to get his site some traffic. I know about article marketing, social bookmarking, and a little bit of SEO, but the keyword research is where I'm kind of stumped. What do you guys think would be some good keywords to target? I know that's probably the easiest part of the entire process but that's where I'm kind of stuck. I have a meeting with my friend and his partners tonight to explain the importance of IM in starting their new site, because they have no idea about IM at all. So any input would be greatly appreciated, not only about the kw research but also on some other ideas on how I could market their site.
Hope this isn't considered a stupid question.
