So I went abit crazy on amazon today and bought 7 books, a couple of these I've read before but don't own (my mum is a librarian)

Think and grow rich - Napoleon Hill
How to win friends and influence people - Dale Carnegie
Crush It - Gary Vaynerchuck
4 hour work week - expanded edition - Tim Ferriss
4 hour body - Tim Ferriss
Yes! 50 Secrets from the Science of Persuasion - Rober Cialdini
Scientific Advertising - Claude Hopkins

Any book you'd recommend? I'm looking to add some to my wish list now so I can purchase next time round

    This is awesome.

    Really changed my mindset.

Throw in Sam Carpenter's "Work the System, and maybe "ReWork" by 37Signals... and you'll be looking at your Internet business from a completely new angle.

The reason that the world is in such a state is down to the attitude of Tim Ferris and his 4 hour work week. Everyone want's someone else to do the work but will glady take the credit. He's just cashing in on the trend of everyone wanting everything now, which is the total opposite of what the other books in your list will teach you.

You could also add Rich Dad, Poor Dad to the list, and also get some copywriting books will help you when it comes to marketing your product / services.

Isn't that what business is about upto a certain extent, Steve Jobs gets credit for the iPhone and iPads, but he's not out in the trenches physically making it, right?

I'll send a message to all the people I outsource and say I've got to sack them because globalization isn't fair.

If you want to build a successful business it's recommended. I'll leave it at that.

A long list of good to the best copywriting books is listed in the sticky over in the copywriting forum:

Gary Halbert's (a deceased direct marketer) newsletters (free) are well worth reading, especially the Boron Letters. Lots of gold if you can recognize it .

It seems you're into inspirational, how-tos, and nonfiction. A few oldies, but goodies:
Awaken the Giant Within - Tony Robbins
The Science of Getting Rich - Wallace D. Wattles
The Success System That Never Fails - W. Clement Stone
