Any way to outsource the selling of an E-Book?

Hey guys,
I have finally completed my first E-Book and it's online, on a website, ready to download.

Because I am tied up with a few other ventures, I don't have the time to do as much promotion as I would like.

How could I JV or outsource the promotion of it, cheaply? The product is $9.97, so, there is not a huge fortune to be made in it, but, every little bit will help, and, I don't want to sink much into it on the front end.

Instead of outsourcing the selling of the product you could outsource some traffic techniques.

That way you will have visitors to your site and hopefully your sales letter or website itself will do the rest of the selling.

Since it's a cheaper product I'm not sure if you could really get any affiliates interested in promoting it but that doesn't mean all is lost

You could post a note in the JV section of the Warrior Forum.

You could offer it through multiple different affiliate options including RAP, Clickbank, PayDotCom, or PaySpree. Allowing affiliates to do the marketing.

You could offer it for sale as a WSO if it is IM related.

You could sell it as a PLR offering through a WSO.

You could search online within your market, choose the top 10 websites for hot phrases and contact the site owners about their interest in selling the book as JV deal.

Those are just the first few ideas which pop to mind...

If it is IM related and GOOD set it up on this forum as a WSO and go through Warrior+ to handle the price jumps and quantities etc...or put it on Clickbank and let affiliates sell it for you.

the best way is to get the affiliates right here warrior forum. click bank is a good option but you need to create a hype page, videos and a lot of other things too promote it effectively

        I hear you on Clickbank.

I tried a few years back to be an affiliate with CB, and, based on what I saw, it seemed to be pretty easy to get products sold off of there, but, again, that's not for sure. I could set up my book on Clickbank pretty easily for $49, but, would like to hold off until I get my initial investment (2 editors) paid off first, so, I can "shoestring" CB later.

If you don't mind, I would like a bit of honest feedback regarding my site. If it is against forum rules, I can take it down - NO PROBLEM.

        The website is...

        Home

Again, If I need to take it down, JUST LET ME KNOW.

I really honor and respect this forum and all that it has taught me.

          Yes you can outsource it.

However its not really outsourcing is affiliate sales.

          Here's what you do.

1st - Get the ebook set up

2nd - Go to Fiverr and find someone to create some banners

3rd - Create a mini-version of the ebook and get it filled with some links back to your full version

4th - Create an 7 day email marketing mini-course that can people can sign up for

5th - Create an audio version of the ebook

6th - Create an Adwords Campaign using good keywords with high commercial intent test it and select at least 30 good keywords. Save the ads that you used and then disable them from your adwords account.

7th - Set up a Clickbank account and add your product and get it approved.

8th - Set up an affiliate page on your website add banners, mini-ebook, Adwords keywords, email marketing course and everything that affiliates can use.

9th - Look for a JV partner and get him to market the product

10th - Create a WSO with the affiliate offer and publish it to other Warriors

This will help you get through easily.

            Thank you, David.

As far as the "mini email marketing course," I am confused about what that is.

Let's back up here for a second. First you really need to either learn how to write good sales copy yourself or hire a professional. Your site isn't going to sell anything the way it looks right now. So you need to get that straightened out.

Then when you do that, you need to get affiliates to promote your product. You can use CB or create your own affiliate program. But again, nobody is going to promote your product with the way your site looks right now. You really need to learn and understand the science of copywriting.

Since this is your first product, you don't have a list of people who you could share it with ready to go that would help build interest. While I'm firmly against the whole "GURU e-book" mantra, the basic concept for selling anything is the same:

    1. Either push it through a CPA network like CJ or Clickbank. or
    2. Work with a more established name in the industry and have them push it out to their list and gather those E-mails that buy from you for the future.
I'd go with the second option and take it a step further. Most established names can give you pointers on where to add value so that they could increase the price for both of you to make a decent return (they don't want to push something that might hurt their reputation and you don't want to barely cover the time creating the product in the first place).

They'll probably want you to add some videos or other resources for the book and sell it off as a package. You never know until you talk to someone as they know what their list responds best too.

The book is a report on how to get a resolution from companies that don't seem to deliver on promises...i.e., a laptop dies, a bill has unexplained charges, etc.

Write a attractive summary in the form of a small pdf. Include the link to main PDF. Now, give away the small PDF for free and ask them to share with their friends. It will go viral in few weeks and then sit and enjoy the money.

Basically you have people sign up on the site to receive a small email course related to your product. In each email you'll refer back to your product. It will give people more of a taste of what you are selling and give you more chances to get them back on your site to buy your book.

I agree with either outsourcing the traffic methods to your web page or set up some JVs in the JV section of the WF.

Even if you can't pay for a solo ad, maybe you can find someone willing to promote it to their list for 50% of the revenue.

For how much could I get another site built to host this one, one that would look like what you would call "good sales copy?"

Personally, this is what I would do..

This is your FIRST ebook, which means your probably going to make many more if you enjoyed doing it.

So why don't you do this..

Give your ebook away for FREE but get people to join a mailing list to receive it. You could even add affiliate links in the ebook to create some revenue. This way your getting your name out there AND gaining some nice numbers on your list ready to distribute your next ebook.

If you don't want to give this one away, make a new one that will lead towards buying your ebook.

That's only an idea but, I hope it gives you more insight.

    Hi Jeremy

You need to search the WSO or warriors for hire section of this site to redesign your site.

I would then suggest you do a google search for "free copywriting tips" to see if you can improve your sales page.

Then go to somewhere like fiverr.com to get some seo and backlinks for the site.

Join forums related to your niche (do a google search) connect with the community and leave a link to your site in your signature. Also look for blogs related to your ebook and post some relevant comments.

I assume your working on a tight budget but you can get a minisite designed on here from $25 upwards. Spend around $10 on fiverr on backlinks etc.

The hardest part is the copy for your sales page but unfortunately copywriters don't come cheap. If you are struggling with this I may be able to help a little (pm me) although I am no expert.

Also consider listing the book on other sites such as ebay, digital point etc (on ebay you would have to send it out on a cd) check ebays rules on this. You could even list it as a gig on fiverr and similar sites its free to do so but you would have to drop your price to $5 on fiverr other sites similar to this will allow you to post at $10.

As others have said consider writing some short reports with links to your main site and give this away to build your list.

    Good luck with it all

    Anton
