Question about facebook ads..
Hey all, love the forum - I got a really noob question about facebook ads.
This is going to sound stupid, I have watched countless videos and read how to tutorials on how to use fb ads and have a good understanding of how it works BUT, my question is - with the link that you are putting in to send people after they click on the add, what url's do I put in there? Are they affiliate links or pages to sign up for apps etc?
Because all these videos say to put in a link then do everyting else. But I dont understand what link you put in there (they just use a normal website)? How do I make money off this link if its just to view a page? Does facebook have a bunch of add pages you can put in?
Say for example I put in a free facebook app or sign up for a newsletter or a ebook non facebook related, how do I exactly make money off this? Do they have to buy something on that page for me to make money? How does facebook know how much to pay if this is the case?
I hear about people spending so much a day on clicks and that but never how much they make from it, where in facebook ads does it say how much you have earned?
Ahh, sorry about the long post but was just curious on how this worked as they never specify which websites to put in the blank (apart from there own) and how that works with generating $. Appreciate it if someone could explain.
