Hi,

Not sure if this is the correct section to post this !

Is there a wordpress plugin that allows you to have a static homepage, with the latest posts on it as well ?

I have seen some sites that seem to have a static homepage, then with 3 sections for different categories of posts !

Is this a plugin, or is it just premium themes that allow it ?

Heres a example about what i mean Barbecue Grills

This site seems to have on the homepage, a section for posts from categories "Barbecue", "Grilling", and "Barbeque Grills on Amazon"

You mean the 3 categories of: categories, recent posts, and archives?

It's how the site was designed, not a plugin.

There are plenty of free and premium themes that have a similar layout. The theme from your example is a modification of the lifestyle child theme from studiopress.

Ok thanks, I wasnt sure whether it was a theme or plugin.

I've been trying to do it with the free flexibility 3 theme, but not having much luck at the minute.
Is there anyway to configure flexibility 3 to do this ?

Which free themes do you know that has this available please ?

My advise is to invest in your business.

Buy a theme that does what you need and stop wasting time trying to find the perfect free theme. We're talking $30 - $100 as a business investment. It's chump change if you are serious about pursing an online career.

If I remember correctly, no. It's just a basic blog theme with a gazillion unnecessary options.
