I want to build like fiverr/ freelance site.

I want to create a website like fiverr.com (or maybe freelance site), but I don't want to use fiverr clone script.

Guys, girls, do you know is there a website builder/ wordpress plugin/ theme that I can make a website that functions like fiverr.com in any language that I want?

Payment can handle paypal and manual payment (in any currency)... What do you think?

    Don't bother with clone scripts because you need to be different from fiver to stand out, so firstly you need something fresh and exciting.

    like steven jones stated i would recommend going to elance, if you don't currently have the money then just wait until you do. draw up some plans of how you wish your site to look and you MUST think of ideas to make it better than fiverr.

      I think that even clone script buyers greatly underestimate the amount of money it will take to promote the site once finished. People don't just find you. And using software to blast out spammy links isn't a great way to get a good reputation.

    Don't bother copying other sites. Unless and until you have something unique or new people won't be using your website. Fiverr had an very interesting and fresh concept that's why its such a successful project. But for starting these kinda of website you need a lot of investment and a lot of money. Once the site is built you gotta maintain the site so its additional cost. I would assume such projects would atleast required 1-3k $ and then further development as the site gains popularity.

    You can go to odesk, elance, freelancer.com, vworker these are some good reputed websites where you can find some reliable coders.

      Speaking as someone who works for a company that has developed a fiverr clone, if you choose to get something custom built from scratch you need to be looking at a budget of around $5,000 plus a marketing and advertising budget of $3,000.

      If you choose a guy that charges $500 to built a site like Fiverr but with your own features then it will cause no end of problems.

      Finally, if you do go down the custom script path, remember to keep the development cycles short. Aim to have a very basic website up and running within 40-60 days and then start adding your unique features one by one.

      Classipress seems to be a WP theme for running classified Ads. I think this theme does not have the necessary backend features that are required for a fiverr type site.

    You can use fiverr clones and if you know a little html and css you can modify the theme to look completely unique.

    You may try to hire someone from Freelance Programming Jobs, Find Freelancers, Programming Work or ScriptLance.com Custom Freelance Programming. Outsource web projects to programmers and designers..

    Both these site specialize in programming jobs. I would also suggest that you use the service of someone who has previous experience with similar sites. f o u r e r r . c o m seems to be very professionally done. This is from a programmer point of view. So why not go ahead with vision link?

      Check out this site some guy in Ireland posted it on one of the forum's pretending to be nothing like Fiverr. Its similar but I don't think its a clone.

    I would say it doesn't matter if you go with a script or started a website from scratch.

    When I started I though a script is a good idea (because it will save money), later on I did regret not build my own, as it cost me money both fixing error and creating new features, that if i work it in my own would saved me money.

    Again, you can have a look in : Fiverr Alternatives and you will find a comparison between these scripts (yes, they do have that many scripts for fiverr only), I did a lot of research before I go with one of them.

    My advice to you, find a niche or specific region, with this amount of scripts (and illegal copies out there). You can imagine how many thousand of fiverr websites out there.

    Unless you are unique, no one will bother to visit. It cost me a fortunate to create unique features that my competitors don't have.

    One last problem i have to mention with most of fiverr script, no matter what you can do with them, you do have a limitation when it comes to the design unless you ended working with open source script.
