Help for a beginner

First of all make a list, of all or as much as you can, about Internet Marketing softwares. Once you have done that.. do keyword research and find which products are easy to target. Now start writing posts on those keywords and follow all seo.

These are all questions that you will have to answer for yourself depending on what you are marketing. Do you have a product or service or do you just have a site with no idea at all?

I have had most success with a squeeze page to build your list. From here you can contact and build relationships with people to make sales on your products/services (that is if you have one).

If you have no product or service at all and have no plans of aquiring an affiliate product or your own products it may be better that you make this a blog and going by the name of the domain it needs to be a blog on different "internet marketing softwares"?!

As long as the blog is informative and helpful and with work you should do ok going that way.

As in terms of autoresponders, I use Aweber. It is not free but it is cheap and works very well for me.

Sorry this is scattered but you have many options here and the final judgement will be from you on exactly what you want to do.

You could do a review site of internet marketing software in blog or mini-site format.

You could do a blog style site for freeware type programs that help internet marketers. Such as auto submitters, keyword research tools, logo creators or anything else that would help an internet marketer.

Lots of possibilities with that domain name.

Free list software would be:
Mailchimp - I believe they do not allow affiliate promotion, only promotion of your own products? Not entirely sure as I've never used them.

Listwire - Completely free auto-responder and list management service run by a Warrior.

Constant Contact - Paid list management site but they do offer a 60 day trial.

Since you have the domain already you may as well run with it. But, I'm sure everyone will agree,, that you may want to go in a different order. You want to find a profitable niche first with keywords that have have good search volume without a million sites using them. THEN, you want to build a domain name around those keywords. It may be a little more difficult to try to build on a domain that has no research to it.

Okay, thanks for all the responses so far, if I wanted to make a list with a squeeze page, what would the ways for promoting this list then? I've done some backlinking using Angela's package.

I have picked of course something related to the domain name and I want to promote marketing software. I do not think I have the skills to create my own software or my own ebook concerning marketing software so I'll be depending on promoting other offers.

So say I join a CPA network on marketing software, will they supply me with a proper squeeze page and content or is that up to me?

I would say make the site a blog that reviews various internet marketing softwares. It could be auto-responders, article submission softwares, keyword research softwares etc. Give your opinion on the software and then have a link to it so people can check it out. You could also put Adsense on your site as a way to make a little money.

Buy up a bunch of PLR and MRR software and sell it retail. PLR stands for Private Label Rights and MRR, master resale rights. You can get big bundles pretty cheap. WHAT is your business plan? What kind of online activity are you planning to do? - selling your own product, affiliate marketing, or...?

It's always good to have a plan before getting the domain and hosting. I'd put a blog up, but that's just me. Depends on how you want to make money with the site what you put up. If you want to make money with a list, then a squeeze page and autoresponder would be good, or at least make sure that you have your list optin form on the blog if you set up a blog, maybe with a giveaway to entice them to sign up. Obviously, it's going to have to relate somehow to Internet marketing software.

I agree with everyone in that you kinda put the car before the horse. To me, that domain sounds like a place where you can put a review of many different IM software products (there is no shortage of those) and pepper your review with affiliate links for each one. Good luck!

I would start off with a blog reviewing different internet marketing software and promote the hottest products of your choice. Make sure your blog has fresh content as search engines like Google favors great content relevant to your chosen keywords.

With a domain like that you can do a lot.
You can do a review site for internet marketing software and use your affiliate link to connect visitors with the products.
You should be sure to use original articles to do your review and use SEO tactics like putting the title (with the designated keyword) in H1 tags, and for every 100 words your keyword should appear twice if possible. Of course make sure your article flows well and it just doesn't sound like you're trying your hardest to keyword pack your article.

I think thats what I would do if I had this domain, but again you can do so much! I would suggest you build a list. Maybe give away free copies of the latest software at random to subscribers, giving incentive for people to join your list.

I agree with the suggestion of many. Put a blog up and start a conversation about the topic. You may find as you go about searching for new angles and news about software that you start to develop a keen interest in some aspect of internet marketing software. As your website ages it becomes increasingly valuable - especially if you blog regularly in put up well written, thoughtful content.
