That is what I would be saying if I lived in a third world country where $10 a month could go a long way.

Instead I have spent years trying to figure out how to make money online, but alas I have never had any kind of Huge Pay Day or even a medium payday...like every single WSO and Clickbank Product promises....

Somebody.....

Don't tell me the possible ways to make money....

Tell me some ways that are ACTUALLY MAKING YOU MONEY TODAY....

    Experiments makes marketers more experienced one.

    Try different things or do same things differently which used by successful marketers currently.
  • I've tried a ton of things as well. I used to make money with paid article directories- about $1,000 total from that ($600 from one article). Although that's probably alot harder to do now.

    Now I do marketing consulting and freelance work. Make enough to stay at home doing that, find about half of my work through oDesk.com and the other half through my own promotions/site.

    On the side I'm also trying to build a couple email lists and create info products. Hopefully I can switch to that when I start making money that way.
  • Since you put it that way...

    1. Figure out what people want.
    2. Create something that people want.
    3. Build a list of prospects.
    4. Market to that list.
    5. Don't lie or use false hype in your ads.
    6. Over deliver on your promises.

    As somebody said above, it's been this way for thousands of years. Nothing has changed. You need to work hard at it. Don't fall for gimmicks that teach that you can skip any of the steps that I listed.

  • I think there is a VAST majority of people trying to make money compared to those actually making money.

    That said, I feel my hand has been very poorly dealt. Not only is it tough to earn good money online due to being in a western country, I am UK based and even anything I do on Fiverr equates to nothing due to poor conversion rates. Even if I was in the US I'd be earning more. Poor show!

    • Hey Matt, I disagree with your position. I know I live in the US, but to some degree, I don't think location is important. There are probably just as many people in the UK making a full time living online than there are here in the US. There have been some great ideas given above about what people are actually doing.

      What do you do well? Article writing or product creation? SEO? Web Design or graphic design? There are tons of ways that YOU can make a full time income working from your kitchen table or local coffee shop which is where i am right now.

    I sell my own products. I build websites and sell them. I have a membership site for people who want to sell my websites. Before this membership site, I sold my blogs through Niche Blogging Treasure, then I sold that business.

  • I provide my services to Fiverr.I know it's not much but i make at least 200$ per month doing simple jobs.I have a partner here in Greece for whom I write articles for 6$ each.I make informative videos and get 12$ for each one of them.I make 800-1000$ per month.It's not thousands or millions but i am making money TODAY!

    • Well, not everything is hit or miss.

      It is about educating yourself, and doing some proper research up front so some educated guesses can be to your benefit and help you get there quicker.

      A small bit of market research before entering a niche can go a really long way.

      If someone put a gun to your head and said you'd die if you didn't make $1000 this week online could you do it?

      My guess is yes. Most times when people are not making the money they want to make it is because they don't really want to make that money as bad as they think they do.

      Now, this might not be you. I dunno.

      But try this...find someone offering web design or seo services.

      Now, go out every day and pitch 10 offline business these services.

      You don't even have to know how to do them yourself. There are warriors here who offer these services who are total experts. So go hire em and act as a middle man.

      You can earn six figures THIS year doing only this if you are willing to put the work in it requires to obtain new clients.

    • You have the right attitude, to work hard. This is what I propose, as well, because frankly, not everyone can be good at marketing.

      Sell services, build up a budget, make sure you are getting by, and maybe then you can slowly transition to higher payday marketing efforts.

  • The simple answer to the issue is, focus on building your list, without a large list life is difficult, in fact the reason most of us go online is to free up our time, not slave at a computer writing articles, making videos cross linking , backlinking and everything you are supposed to do, Ofcourse i am only speaking my my own personal experience. As soon as i focused 90% of my online time building a large list, then building a relationship with that list, that when i started actually making some sensible money. Hope it helps, good luck

  • The only way I ever made money was when I decided I'd had enough and started selling my sites. Then I realized people are hungry to be online, but suck at building sites. So I began building unique websites and selling them. Got tired of that though, but it's decent money. Now I am focused on offline marketing, there is a whole new world for you where you can actually make real money and help local businesses at the same time! There's a whole forum for this right here at WF! You should head over and check it out. Let me know if this is what you're looking for. It satisfies me!

  • Easiest way to make money is to sell Amazon products. You probably won't make tons of money, but you'll get the feeling. Plus you can test the site built for Amazon with AdSense as well. And other ecommerce shops!

      Most people who fail to make money Online are either thinking too much (and not doing anything), taking the wrong course of action, or giving up too early.

      For example, i've seen countless people set up sites to promote affiliate offers and then give up because traffic hasn't been coming in... The thing is, they give up when they haven't bust their ass to generate any....

  • Here is what I do to make money online,

    1. I build niche sites that I rank for competitive keywords in Google
    2. Those sites either have adsense or affiliate products for monetization
    3. Create my own products that I promote
    4. Build e-mail lists to sell even more products
    5. Profit?

    There are other ways to make money online, article writing, selling services, creating membership sites, etc.

    If you want to make money online you have to work hard at it and stick with one method. IM takes sacrifices just like any other business out there. This is a major road block for most people who work a full time job already and a big reason why so many fail at IM. They either expect a get rich quick scheme or they fail to invest the time. Instead of taking action they buy WSO after WSO dreaming of getting rich instead of getting off their butt.

    Work your butt off, create quality content and products that people will want, the type of stuff that solves people's problems, and they will keep coming back for more. Your reputation is everything, don't forget that.

  • That's pretty funny ankur sharma, but Fenderkid is right, you can earn easy monthly income with offline marketing. I'll give you one example of how Iim doing it. I'm building websites and renting them out. One quick example you can build a wedding planner website or dentist or whatever business. Then rocket them to page 1 on a google search (my fastest got on page 1 three hours after publishing it! I know that sounds like bull s#@*, but it's true, it works! Then you rent them out for $197 - $397 per month to a business in the city that you chose to optimise. Now 5 sites @ $400 = $2000 per month. There's plenty of information right here on Warrior Forum.     I am planning on building a big product for Domain Flipping the future.
  • You either make your own stuff and sell it OR (VASTLY VASTLY EASIER!) you buy stuff that other people make and sell it.

    Start like this: FIRST look for a product that EVERYBODY wants to buy (ok, let's say, a product that a vast majority of people would at least CONSIDER buying once a year.

    THEN get this product cheap, perhaps in bulk, from a manufacturer. Order a larger lot and sell it piece by piece.

    Easiest way to make money. No need to write ebooks, struggle with seo etc. Just buy stuff and sell it.. ONLINE ;-)

  • Ever hear of the story about the Gold Rush? The people selling the tools made more money than the people mining the gold!

    Think of this. What does an Internet Marketer need? A squeeze, thank you and download page! Can you build good ones? Sell that service!

    Traffic... how do they get it? Can you get it for them? Sell a targeted traffic service if you can!

    New graphics for PLR products! Can you make them using something free? Do that and sell the service!

    A lot of people are selling services though, so contact a few people and offer your services for free in exchange for a worthy testimonial, but only offer a service that you're good at.

    If the person says "I don't really like it." Ask them what you can do to make it better, thus giving you a better idea of what people want.

    Then if you can offer these people repeat services. try to get them on some kind of list so that you can email them any kind of special offers you have or special services you can offer.

    Also, make sure it's some you like doing. If it's something you're not interested in, you lose your enthusiasm eventually it starts to become a chore! Remember why you got in to making money online in the first place, so that you don't have to go and face those "chores" in your day job! Well for most IMer's anyway.

  • I have been doing Internet Marketing for the past 16 years. In recent years, I have been making a decent amount of passive income each month. It is good money especially considering the money does not require any work. It currently is not enough to pay all the bills. However, the key is it is repeatable. Since I have my stream of passive income created,
    I know how to get more.

    When I have time, I offer SEO, web design services, internet marketing, Google Adwords, website shopping cart integration and other services to clients. I have made GREAT money offering these services.

    There is a difference between passive income and services. Passive income allows you to do whatever you want and you will still receive a paycheck. Services require you to give of your time.

  • I think what determines success is having tunnel vision and seriously working your butt off at whichever IM method you selected. Most marketers who fail have enough knowledge, but don't really focus or try hard enough. You must really attack IM like a business in order to start seeing results.

      Specifically, I applaud the people saying "Find what someone wants and sell it" - but there's more to it than that which I want to explain:

      FOCUS ON A RESULT THAT SOMEONE WANTS TO ACHIEVE

      When you start marketing, most people tend to focus on the superficial stuff. That means, you look at products, services and "things" that you can sell. Everyone does it - it's just natural.

      The problem with thinking about what products you can sell is that you forget why people buy stuff in the first place -> everyone wants a result. And normally, they don't care about how they get that result as long as it seems wacky, has good packaging and seems trustworthy.

      This means that when you're starting out - look for people who need help. Don't even think about products or services or yourself. Think about them - think about how you can provide something that's really going to help them achieve the result they want.

      I CALL THIS "MARKETING TO THE CORE" (FRANK KERN CALLS IT THE CORE INFLUENCE)

      Each time you want to buy a product, it's not because you want to get that thing. It's because you have a deep-rooted passion, want or need to get the result that thing promises. That's why diet pills sell so well - because they are meant to deliver a result that most people want (to lose weight without thinking about it).

      This is the reason why some products can sell for an astonishingly high price without many people even flinching about paying, because they want to be part of some super exclusive club and expect to pay top dollar for doing so. It's funny because if I went up to someone with a marketing product and said "this costs $3,000 will you buy it", I'll get laughed out of the building. However, if I laid the pitch out correctly and marekted to their CORE - and said "what if you could have a system where you didn't have to work again and just relied on a series of websites to bring in an income, how much would that be worth?", they'd proably be willing to write me a check for $5,000 or more.

      WHEN "RESEARCHING" - ALWAYS LOOK FOR A RESULT THAT SOMEONE WANTS, AND THEN DEMONSTRATE THAT YOU CAN GIVE THEM THAT RESULT

      One of the biggest markets ever is weight loss, right?

      Want to know why? It's because almost everyone in the World wants to lose weight. And when a solution is created for that, demonstrates that it can provide results - you can build a $400 million empire from it.



      I want to share a sneaky tip on this topic.

      If you want to make big money, just locate where the MOST PRODUCTS have been produced for a particular group of people. The presence of products, as many of you will point out, is a sure sign that people want the result those products provide. This means that these "product pools" are actually going to provide you with a bread-crumb trail right back to people who want to buy something - therein solving your problem.

      What I like to do is to find a large group of people buying products. I look at the products and work out what their core results are. Then I look to create & promote a product which is different, but still helps achieve those core results.

      That's how you create a product with a USP. Then you just got to promote it.

  • Just stay persistent and continue working toward your goal. Don't forget to research your niche and the variety of products in it. Make sure to check out your competition to see what they are doing. And don't forget to network with people in the same (or similar) niche. It's a great way to get some JV partners or just some advice.
  • Don't make it harder than it is. Here's what I do:

    Scrape a list of keywords. Run them through a keyword tool. Keep the promising ones, get a domain containing that keyword, create neat content and monetize it. You can easily set up 3-5 sites daily that day. Then do linkbuilding. It's that simple.
    Once you make some decent money out of it, outsource the tasks and make even more.

    • Well im quite new to all this internet marketing but I read ALOT and paid for different trainings, WSOs, etc.. and seriously, what you say is exactly what I am doing right now...(trying to )

      However, im lucky enough to have some money to invest and am able to pay experienced people to create my stuff and promote it so I can learn from them and after that I will take all this knowledge and probably do what im best at by myself and leave the boring parts to other people (paid).

      I have an offline business (not into marketing at all) with employees,offices and eveything... Over the years I have learned that you have to do what you are good at and let other people do the parts you cant do or are not good at.. Thats what I am trying to implement here.

      My goal is to get some affiliate sites working and from there decide if I want to go on the flipping side or the keep-them-all-for-accumulated-profit side.

      I havent made a dime yet, im pretty new to all this, no site yet (getting one built right now) but my goal is to have enough income every month to sell my business and stay at home with my family selling stuff online/ or services offline. I KNOW I can do it. When you KNOW you can do it, it happens. When you THINK you can do it, you end up never making it most of the time..

  • I will say what I think is the most realistic way for most people to make money:

    1. Start a website about something you are passionate about and keep piling on good content
    2. Learn SEO and backlinking
    3. Get traffic from Google
    4. Add a social/community aspect of your website
    5. Branch into other niches using the link and traffic power of your authority site

      Find something that works, and just keep doing that, do not deviate from the plan. Too many times marketers try to go and find the holy grail secret da vinci code to how to make money online. Only to find that there is nothing but hot air.

  • Making money online is not difficult at all. Find a product everyone is searching for, place your ad where these people are searching, have a good sales funnel and build your list.
    Market your product or service to that list. Done deal...

    House and property prices in many parts of Africa for example rival those in Western Europe and the USA. Food and beverage prices are slowly catching up to Western standards.

    $10 a day is poor in the USA and is also poor in Africa and the third world.
  • I make a little bit of pocket money here or there by writing articles. Sometimes, when projects are up, I use CloudCrowd. I've also made some sales on Constant-Content, even if that takes away quite the chunk of your earning. I'm still in the process of gaining clients on my own, but I know that it will come in due time with persistence. I just went into IM knowing that I wasn't going to hit it big right off the bat, because very few people actually do.
  • The only thing holding any one back from succeeding online is lack of knowledge and lack of desire to act on that knowledge once you get it.

    We all have the desire in us to be great, but what good does it do for someone to do the work for you?

    Spend some money, get some skin in the game, then the knowledge you gain can be put to use, educate yourself, put in the time and research.

    Or do it the old fashion way, join a offline business and do it face to face. I make 200 dollars a month on the side of my real job selling vitamins to customers because I have a product story, and I live it and I wear the button.

    • The other side of the coin to that comment is to much information and to overwhelmed to do anything substantial with it.

      I agree with nearly every comment on here. You will make money from the different steams mentioned here, but the one thing all these comments have in common is that they're all multiples. Multiples websites built and sold, multiple review sites, multiple articles written make money, multiple adsense and amazon sites.

      Alot of people who start out in internet marketing assume that their first website will make them rich and thats all that needs to happen. While granted their is the odd case where someone stumbles onto a gem and makes some good money from their first site or article a majority of us won't and don't. The secret is to build your first site till it makes it's first sale or income stream, then while your scaling that site to generate more, you build your second site along the same lines, and then your third, fourth and so.

      Same goes with article marketing and offline sales, figure whats the best angle to approach a new client offline and when it works, upscale it and use it again on a new client.

      Making money online is about multiples. I have alot of sites which make a little bit of money, but all those sites together make me a fair bit of money which is all going into my next site which even though has been up and rebuilt in the last few weeks is already making sales and pretty much well breaks alot of the rules of IM and niche marketing.

  • There are SO many ways in which to earn a passive income or any kind of income for that matter from internet marketing. BUT.. you have to grasp it. So many people go down the wrong path or do things half heartedly. For example, a few years ago someone who I was giving a bit of advice too shown me what they were setting up in order to make money. This guys graphics and sales page were really bad. Very unprofessional looking and to me, if someone visited that page they would most likely click away from it within seconds BECAUSE it just did not scream quality. It didn't even whisper it. Everything you do within your internet marketing business needs to be done right. Whether this is creating graphics, developing a product, writing sales copy, creating promo videos. If you wouldn't buy from your site then why would anyone else? You need to make sure they are done to the best of your ability (or your outsourcers ability). If your sales pitch looks bad... then why would people assme the product your offering is top notch?

    To make money online you need a product. Then you need to create a sales funnel for that product. Then you need to promote that product. That's it. There's no mystery to it. You just need to check all the boxes and then work hard to achieve each step and task to the required level.

    Before you start your project it's a good idea to make a list. Make a list of EVERYTHING you need to do from start to finish. ie - Find or create a product. Buy a suitable domain. Create a nice looking sales page, write powerful sales copy, add your payment button, do onpage SEO, build links, write some articles etc etc. Set yourself a milestone and then tick each one off as you go along.

    Internet marketing is a business and to make it work you need to put the effort in like you would an offline business. Realise it isn't a quick solution to making money but its a good one if you get it right. A business that once set in motion can make you money whilst you sleep.

  • The key to success online is knowing more than the rest of the competition. As you know the barrier to entry online is super low so everyone is facing some really intense competition. This leaves the big majority of website owners with little or no money. So I would encourage you to study success stories, educate in strategies that works the best and if you know more than your competition then you are already ahead of them and can dominate your market.   • I make a software for MMORPG gamers that dominates the market. I'll be hitting 7 figures from it really soon. I'm not afraid to disclose what the product is (Pwnboxer.com) since I've nailed down the market and community so hard, competition just isn't possible.

    I just crunched the numbers and I'm seeing affiliates doing $4 - $23 eCPM on my limited affiliate release - daaang. Time for me to open up my affiliate program very, very soon, as I'm tweaking it right now (I just doubled the $ affiliates earn per sale 3 days ago to $23.50).

    Excuse me while I go and put all my life's savings into the robot's hands - I mean, it's consistently profitable, right? It's been tested by expert programmers and developed by a combination of professional traders and mathematicians. Actually, if the FOREX robot you're endorsing as an affiliate (and you are endorsing it, otherwise why would you be promoting it?) is so great, why even bother being an affiliate instead of letting the robot trade with your money?

    When will people learn that truly profitable trading algorithms cost tens of millions to develop and form a closely guarded trade secret that would never leave the Wall Street firm that owns it?

    Sorry, but people peddling forex solutions as affiliates are exactly what's wrong with the IM industry - you're basically promoting a product that sooner or later will blow up your trading account when used. No wonder the FTC is seeking to regulate IM - next thing you know, there'll be affiliate programmes for cocaine...

  • To start keep it to the basic:

    You need a product people want > you need to be seen so people can buy from you.

    This is marketing 101.

    When you have this settled, you can expand on different stuff, sales funnel, convertions, etc etc.
  • I can tell you that if you want to say something different a few years from now, start building a long term income model. Do not go after only fast/easy cash, instant-riches methods. While trying them in the process, make sure you also take some action that will bring guaranteed money to you in the long term.

    So, the best and easiest example for this that I can give is to build a website, a blog, a niche site (whatever you name it) around a topic that you like to talk about, research, learn and share your knowledge with others, and add content to it consistently. Even if you post one article on that website per week, you will have a 50+ pages website 1 year from now. Even if you do zero promotion and zero off-page SEO, that site will absolutely bring you some traffic, which you can monetize using dozens of methods like AdSense, Amazon, Clickbank, CPA, CPM, Selling Ad Space, Sellign your own products etc. And once it starts to drop, you can always improve it and make it flow.

    To summarize, build a website about anything you like and work on it consistently like most of the other internet marketers who make consistent money.

    Another way is to offer services to people, but this might not be as charming as the passive income a developed website could bring in.

  • I totally agree on the views on Amazon, this has been the turning point for me. All this while I went where the herd were headed and everywhere I see clickbank, clickbank and only clickbank and very less mention of Amazon. Obviously clickbank works for many people there's no denying this fact.

    But what people don't realize is that it takes relatively much more to convert clickbank, and the brand equity and the trust factor on Amazon is so strong that the conversion is easier. Although the commission may be lower but the higher conversion makes up for it.

    And believe me, after the long struggle it was so encouraging and motivating seeing those conversions at Amazon.

    The free training at buildrankprofit(.com) changed my whole perspective and Amazon was the turning point for me.

  • Create a site that people actually visit. If you have a site that gets 10,000 visitors a month you will be able to make money from them. If you have a site that gets 100 visitors a month then you will struggle to make money. Get the traffic and then work out how to sell to it.

  • Sales are the easy part. Getting traffic is the major problem. Yes you can create a website and wait for traffic to grow and then start selling products...but this could take months and could end up not working. You can also build your sales page first and pay to get instant traffic...however, you could still not make a dime if you dont do it right. It's all about how you do it and how much you really want to succeed. You chose one path and follow it till the end. Keep reading and learning stuff about this path, forget everything else. Watching free webinars from the bests out there and asking them questions, thats the way I learned the fastest. Do what you like, not what other people tell you to do.

    You have to decide which way your are confortable with. One thing is important however, quality over quantity.

    If you want to make money FAST, that's your best bet.

    If you have some capital you can try paid traffic and tweaking until you're in the black, but selling services is one of the best ways to get started.
