    Hi,

I would say to offer to do something unique or out of the ordinary or something that you would enjoy doing hat will not take too much time or money. You could make a 3 to 10 page report on how to do something. Just my own two cents. Hope that helps. Let me know if you need more ideas.

It doesn't matter how great your gig is, you have to do your own marketing

There many websites out there and forums where you can market your gigs for free/ or for $$.

Forums also is a great place to do that in your signature.

If you want to sell on fiverr, you need to offer something that no one can compete with on fiverr. If you giving 1000 twitter fan while other who had more experience offer 1000. You certainly will not be selling.

    So, simply offer more.

Also, make sure your gig is well written. I don't buy from some guy who says I will give you will written SEO article of 500 words, and then get silent. I need to know you can actually do the job and offer sample of your work. Your gig should convenes me that you actually will do a good job.

I've only been on Fiverr for a couple of months and have sold 60+ gigs to happy buyers so here is my advice :

    1. Create a unique gig. If you are offering something similar to what is already on the website, make sure you offer more.
    2. Use a catchy Title, Image, and Description. Videos do help sell gigs as well.
    3. Find out what you are good at and offer quality gigs.
    4. Focus on the most wanted gigs. Go through Fiverr and see what is the most popular, try to get ideas.
    5. Have a quick delivery time. 2 -3 days maximum.
    6. Market your gig on forums, related blogs, and social media websites.
    7. Tell your happy buyers to give you a "thumbs up" rating once the order is complete and if they are satisfied to come back again or tell friends. A higher rating with more thumbs up is very helpful.
8 Always deliver on time with a great finished product and you will keep getting repeat business.

I hope these help. Good luck. PM me with any Fiverr questions.

Just an extra comment......what is with all of these Fiverr clone websites? There must be like 30 of them now. Ridiculous.

The deal with it is this:

If you do it right (manage a clone site) the benefits are this:

      1. I now have my own collection of THOUSANDS of sellers that I get a 20% discount of their services right off the top.

If they don't deliver, there is no harm to me as I hold escrow.

      2. I promote my good sellers, they make money and I make money because I know they are good

      3. It's a profitable biz if done correctly.

Why are there so many? Well, most people outside of IM have never heard of Fiverr. My clone now is ranked in the top 10 largest among all clones and it is growing.

People on this forum love to bash clone owners, but let me tell you, nothing is better than owning your own personal collection of IM'ers that you know deliver and you take a 20% cut right off the top.

I wouldn't have a problem with clones of Fiverr if they all didn't look identical. The layout and everything is just the same. I understand it makes money and you get buyers, sellers, but I guess it just isn't for me. Good luck with your site.

Let me tell you, if it did NOT make a profit I would still go full force with it as I am a hard core IM'er and there is NOTHING like having my own database to draw from....

I know the best gigs and I have personally bought some of the best posters from fiverr and converted them over to my site and we make more money.

It's like anything else, if it is promoted and done correctly, there is tremendous profit. I'm not going to go into specifics, but let me tell you, I wouldn't consider doing IM without my own DB I could tap into

I don't sell on Fiverr, but I buy a lot of services there. What really matters to me is feedback for a new service provider. If I use someone's services and they exceed expectations, I'll use them again and again. There are some providers on Fiverr that I pay $50 to $100 per month, month in month out. Just thought this pov might help!

I can give you a great Fiverr marketing tip that I use. You will need to tweet about your gigs using hashtags. If you don't have your own Twitter list, then find someone who will tweet for you.

If you offer a gig for testimonial videos, for instance, you would tweet something like:

"I make high quality affordable video testimonias. Check out my fiverr gig! www.fiverrgig.com #small business #videomarketing"

This way, anyone who searches Twitter for the latest on #smallbusiness, will come across your tweet.

    It works.

I have been selling gigs 1 week got 5 sales here is my trick:

before starting a gig first search related gigs and their offer
offer little bit more then others
    right a good promotion .
write clearly your gig benefits with examples.
you can increase you sale by creating 2-3 accounts (use proxy )
offer same service with those accounts.
    drive traffic with social bookmarking.
or if you want regular Orders then buy your own gigs as much as you can place reviews an once you got a top rated seller tag then you will get regular Orders .
