Question about paid plugins when selling sites?

I am wanting to sell some adsense sites for the first time and have some questions about selling them with some paid plugins that are on there.

I have clickbump engine which has an xfactor theme I have been using but new buyer would have to buy the plugin to keep it on.

Also I have WPzon builder on some and same thing they would have to buy it...

I also have one autoblog I bought with wp-robot on it that I want to sell.

so...should I list the site as is and tell them they have to buy the plugins or take them off before listing?

Alternatively, you could buy the developers versions of the plugins, so that you can legitimately sell the site complete with plugins.

I buy developer's versions of any commercial plugins so I can sell a site with the plugins.

But I don't want to do that....I don't know how much of these sites I will sell so don't want to lay out the money for developers versions. So in my case...what would you suggest...take them off prior to listing or list as is and tell buyer they will have to buy...my gut says take them off prior to listing.

I'd remove them. Most buyers aren't going to like a listing that says in order for the site to work, you must buy this and that plugin.

One last thing....one of the sites has about 100 automatic posts from wp-robot and no other posts I added. Many are amazon products with my amazon id. So should I remove all the amazon posts or tell the buyer that they will have to go in and change all the amazon id's to there own on each post...which is a lot of work for them.

I have 5 unique articles I can put up instead...but which would be more valuable to a prospective buyer...all these amazon posts but with a lot of work....or 5 unique articles???? Or both?? Just leave as is?

It's not really difficult at all. Just download the Search and Replace Wordpress plugin and activate it. Then go to Tools > Search and Replace and check all tables. Input your ID in the first line and his ID in the second line and it will automatically replace your ID with his ID throughout all of the posts.

If your site is aged, you may risk losing pagerank for removing previous content.

I think your listing should probably just tell the buyer exactly what you told us. You can give them a choice. However, step inside the shoes of buyers to find out what they are looking for. If they want an amazon monetized website, this is the USP. If you take it away, you have a different USP.

Keep everything as simple as possible.

Remove any plugin or anything you do not have rights to transfer.

But I would not remove any content that is already published on the sites because:

    1. All content already posted on a blog is an asset that can be easily modified and improved upon and is ready for the user to easily add and work with, especially if the content has already been indexed in the search engines.

    2. Affiliate links are easily replaced so I would at least install the free WordPress plugin that sbucciarel pointed out.

    Best of luck...Leah
