    I've found that in terms of quality of traffic, my organic (search engine) traffic is far better than the traffic that comes from any method of social marketing or bookmarking. I find bookmarking sites send particularly poor quality visitors.

    Signs of this for me are:

    - bounce rate shooting to almost 90% whenever I have a particularly good day on sites like Stumbleupon. I find that Reddit is particularly poor but if you've ever spent any time reading threads on Reddit, you'll probably know that already.
    - adsense CTR drops to as low as 0.1 to 0.5 % when I get a run on social bookmarking traffic.
