Ok.. So, who will be working this Christmas?...

I know, I know.. we've seen this thread before previous years... but I was just wondering... which of you IM workaholics will be working on Christmas day.. or over the Christmas period?

I for one will NOT be working on Chsitmas day... but will respond to emails etc most days apart from the big day itself.. and the day either side it.

What will you be working?

Andy

I will be working more days than I did when I had a day job but I won't be working Christmas Day.

Although "working" might be too strong a word for it.

I feel completely privileged to have my home office overlooking the Aegean Sea, clear views of snow capped mountains on the mainland, Thessaloniki across the bay and even regular schools of dolphins passing the window.

It makes almost every day of work a pleasure.

Only downside is I won't be seeing all my family at Christmas.
But they make up for it in the summer when I can't get rid of them

        Yes I'm showing off-sorry!

I'd do it. Otherwise, you run the risk of being visited by three ghosts and having to learn a lesson. We all know how horrible that can be when you are just trying to get a good night's sleep :p.

As for me, I'll probably pop by on here and then spend a little time on a fanfiction story; but I won't be working. Take your breaks whenever you can get 'em.

One of the few days of the year that I take off. Family, food and football on Christmas. No work.

Okay beer too but the alliteration attempt was going no where on that one.

Last year I built a website on Christmas day and it's been a nice little earner all year. This year I was going to have the day off and spend it with my grandkids, but I've had to change it to another day so I guess I'll build another website

I'll be taking of Christmas Eve because I'll be with my family, but even so, I'll do some work in the morning. I do it every year, I think, the only time I took off was in 2008 and that was after Christmas even, a few days later, since I was on my honeymoon and my husband had forbidden me to take my laptop LOL

I'll check and answer my emails and keep an eye on my stats, but I won't be working over the Christmas period. I normally take off around the 21st and won't be working again until early January sometime.

Sadly, I will have to work most of the Christmas period as I have a lot of projects I need to complete.

Having said that though, I will probably take a day off on Christmas Day, and just relax.

    Have a good holiday all.

    Rob.

I will be working on Christmas day because I want to.

Of course, you never really know til the day arrives I suppose...I could always be stricken with a sudden bout of laziness. But that's the beauty of working for yourself.

Either way, I'll be wishing Warrior Forum a Merry Christmas!

Nope. I didn't work Thanksgiving week either. I might respond to a few emails but I doubt it unless urgent.

Even with my offline businesses of years past, I always took off to leave town and be with family for every holiday.

There were past years where I was on my computer late Christmas eve after everyone went to sleep, but not on Christmas day.

Knowing what I know now, and what I've put in place, I get just as many sign ups and sales when I am actively working as when I'm not.

Once I figured out how to keep traffic coming in, it wasn't so important for me to be right here doing something all the time.

    BTW....

Merry Christmas to all those who celebrate it and Happy Holidays to everyone else.

Family is coming to town, so I don't know how much work I'll get done (being as how they constantly bug me and all). However, it is my hope that I will get some work done on Christmas day and over the holiday period. I'll be preparing for upcoming launches and working on my PLR store. I wanna start the year off with a bang.

I guess it's all down to personal choice.. or whether people have something better to do... or maybe don't have or feel the 'need' to do something better.

Don't get me wrong.. I love developing new tools... writing new scripts.. apps.. etc... or even battling with Google to increase my rankings... but Christmas day I love to spend time with my children and family. It's the only day when I couldn't possibly work. I think it's just the fact I LOVE santa! ... and another 365 days is a long time coming...
