Created My First Review Site But What's Next Now?

Hello everyone. After reading through the posts I had decided to give article marketing a try. I created my first review site on building muscle and losing fat and already have written and submitted 3 article to 4 article directories. I know that I need to keep on writing continuously, but in addition to article marketing what else can I do to attract free traffic? What would your suggestion be? Also, In WF is there specific section just for us newbeis? Thank you in advance and have a nice day.

Google adwords is not easy for beginners. you might lose your money fast
too if you don't know what you're doing..

BTW, for free traffic, since you have already written several articles, why
not setup a wordpress blog on your site and post all these articles?

If you don't know how to install wordpress, here a free wordpress installation guide you can refer to.

You have chosen 2 very competitive niches. If you want to make money I would suggest building up the site through SEO, IE: build up backlinks, etc...

Well, for more targeted traffic adwords is the best. But as you are newbie, you may lose your money fast. Try to learn adwords tactics & advertise with them. There is no other source will bring you laser targeted traffic other than adwrods.

But you can also try with forum marketing, search for forums like building muscle and losing fat & participate in there with your sig file, this will bring you more targeted traffic.

And also, I believe that you also have to wait for like, ninety days before they allow you to add Adwords to your site. Just making sure what you have is not a spam site.

Start Social bookmarking and blog posting to build up backlinks and eventually traffic.

Hi Fairuz. Thank you for the input. I forgot to mention that my review site is a hosted wordpress blog. Is it OK to post my articles on my blog even though I have already submitted them to article directories? Take care

Hello everybody. Thank you all for your inputs. As some of you have mentioned, i would like to wait a while before getting involved in PPC. Social bookmarking sound very good, but where can I get more info about it? Thanks.

Write reviews on as many popular products as you can in the fat loss and muscle building niche and instead of linking to the vendor, have a link instead to your top rated offer (review of your strongest affiliate product)...you will funnel the buyer traffic searching for those other products to your top offer and soon you'll be making regular sales.

As far as promotion of your site you can go about it 100s of different ways...I prefer set and forget link building strategies so I can move onto my next minisite. I use LinkVana, 3waylinks, and use a directory link submitting service for each minisite and then I MOVE ON, creating as many minisites as possible as quickly as possible. Make sure to get a few deep links to each product review page in addition to http links to your homepage.

Once you see which sites are pulling you in the most money, focus your efforts on creating an authority site for those niches (100 or more pages) and build quality links through contacting website owners (outsource this!)

Rinse and repeat...that's the name of the game. Just make sure not to focus too much time and energy on this one site. Much better to have 10 minisites with okay content than 2 minisites with killer content (unless it's going to be your bread and butter authority site)...just my experience

    Cheers,

    Scott

I build review sites so I would say your next step is to outsource all reviews and subsequent content then build a new site every week till you have say 20 sites and then concentrate on sending one email to each list every week with cpa and affil offers and testing your startegies over the 20 markets.

Key for me is market research

Although Adwords is the fastest way to get traffic it is also the fastest way to lose money if you don't know what you are doing. Articles are good.

Try these as well. Very low cost or Free.

    Here are just some ideas.

I have also started a review after doing the adwords. The adwords did bring in some traffic, but...after a few months I found that it was not bringing in what I thought it should. I did learn a great deal though. Now I have started working with more articals to see how this works. I now know my market with dating sites is very limited, but am using them as a platform to learn more about this process. I was very happy to finally land on this site as the advice here is priceless.

Adwords isn't free. Chayati wanted to know about ways to get "free traffic." I would continue writing more articles on the topic of your review site. There are many article variations you can come up with. Then I would submit uniquely rewritten articles to additional article directories. Jack Duncan has a WSO that lists 103 article directories based on criteria such as how much traffic it will potentially deliver. I would submit to these directories. Then I would promote the page where my article is found on these article directories on social sites like Digg or Propeller, etc., which are free. Then I would submit the RSS feeds of my articles on these article directories or ping them.

Stephen quite literally took the words out of my mouth. Was about to say Build Twenty More.

What Scott is Suggesting is also quite sound. Scaling is the name of the game. What tack you try next all would depend on the resources you currently have in hand. What you have accomplished developing the recipe is the hardest bit, and is not to be understated.

    Hello everybody,
Great advice coming from all of you. I think in addition to writing and posting articles, I am going to learn about social bookmarking and forum participation. I do not want to overload myself. It IM is already looking like a very big mountain to climb over already. Thank you again
