Hi Warriors

I'm doing some offline work and wouldn't mind your opinions - where would you put an optin box on this page...

And what else would you change - what do you like / not like?

EDIT: thanks warriors - I've got enough ideas now so I've taken the link out - thanks heaps

    Hi Stef,

Have you done any work on this site yet?

It looks pretty good as is to me, I'd go for a pop up opt in rather than trying to cram in an opt in box.

The title, keywords and description need looking at.

I don't like the fact that there are buttons in the nav bar that do nothing when you click on them - "our range", "design" and "embelishments"

    cheers

hey thanks Tony - it must be late at night cause I didnt even think of pop up - DUH!!

I know the sites got a couple of small issues - I haven't done anything to this site and it's not one of mine.

I like the simplicity of it - I think it's effective

What about this one - I've outsourced it and this is a first draft they've come up with.

http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/553/inntec1om0.jpg - i wanted it to be more simplistic like the solatec one - hence the op

The solatec one looks better (you know what that means!) but the inntec one has a very clear call to action so will probably be more effective.

Personally, I wouldn't go with the colours they've used at the top of the inntec site. Are there two nav bars up there, or is something else going on?

They both look like wp sites (with a suckerfish nav bar) which are my preference anyway

    cheers

A warrior called "seree" has a great opt-in plugin for wordpress btw, if that's what you're using. It allows split testing of headlines and text amongst other useful functions. Nice added value proposition to put to the client.

yeah I LOVE the simplicity of this site too - very effective. I'm also not a fan of the pop up - once they go to the next page it's gone - i like the optin being on everypage, so its there whenever they decide to optin.

good point - tho I do have the intention of only leaving it there a day or so to get an idea - it certainly isnt about traffic, but thanks for the thought.
