Your Experience Between Flock vs. Firefox Browsers?

I'm just learning about a browser called "Flock." Has anyone had experience with this browser and how does it compare to Firefox?

I used to use IE6, with all of the bugs I refused to upgrade to IE7 so was referred to Firefox and it was the best thing I ever did.

What about Flock? I know Ed Dale recommends it highly. What about you?

I did a search before posting this and found virtually nothing in the archives.

I've tested Flock and it has a cool user interface -
but I found it to be unstable.

I'm not wild about FireFox either but the Add-ons available
for it make it more useful than most browsers for internet
    marketers.

Flock runs on the same source code as FireFox. It has
some useful features for social networking and bookmarking.
Primarily I think Flock is going to be most useful for people
who like to build social relationships online.

Currently I am running Chrome, Opera, Firefox and IE7
They all have their virtues and weaknesses.

Flock IS Firefox with social media built-in.

Just download a copy and give it a try.

      Hi,

      I got flock because -

      a) my bookmarks in firefox are unorganised and chaotic. But I'm nostalgic about them and don't want to delete and start again

      b) I don't like using online bookmarking sites

So I downloaded and use flock as my new bookmark 'holder'. This doesn't answer your question much, but I have used it, had no problems and quite like it. It's bookmarking function is easily organised

        Hi Craig,

I had the same experience as Loren. I liked using flock more than firefox, but it crashed way to much for me. I haven't used it in a while now, so maybe it's more stable. It has some great functionality with social sites, and blogs. I would take it for a test run.

        Regards,
        Kevin

I agree with Loren. It's a bit buggy, but it seems to be reasonably stable on my system, with some good features. Takes a while to load though. Install the wrong plugin and you'll have to re-install, at least I did.
