Hey guys, seeking a Pinterest invitation can anyone send me

    ive started to use pinterest i love all the images you can see from many people. an invite? you can just sign up on the website but it does say it may take a couple of days before you get your invitation to sign up with them

    Still not seeing pinterest as the next big thing, but I seem to be hearing about it everywhere lately. Any reason why you need to be invited and can't just sign up whenever you want?

    i think theres a big backlog of requests so they just go through their list and then officially invite you

    I signed up for an invite a week back and within a day they sent me the invite. So instead of asking others you can do so directly.

    After I watched her video, I signed up right away, created a board for each of my websites and started pinning. I only pin my own stuff, my own images, so as not to violate any artists or photographers out there by pinning their photos without express permission. From what I've read, Pinterest takes no responsibility if they get sued for photography copyright violations. They pass all of the liability over to their users. Lovely, huh.

    So to avoid any "misconduct" - especially where Getty Images is concerned, I only pin my own images.

    I haven't seen a whole lot of traffic yet but then, I only signed up last week, although someone I don't know repinned one of my boards! That was exciting! Then I used their tool to automatically follow all of my Facebook Friends who are also on Pinterest.

    But watch Lisa's video explanation. Then if you're not on Pinterest, you might want to head over there. You can PM me for an invite if you want.

    Yup, I believe I have P invites too if anyone needs. Can skype or PM me. When you sign up through the invite, make sure to sign up another email addy, etc., and invite yourself to you get 5 more. Or at least that seems logical to me - depending on what you want to use it for
