News like Wordpress themes that can be setup this way?
Hi everyone. It's great to be back after a fairly long period away due to health and family reasons. I'm now back and ready to continue with my efforts.
I have a question I hope you can answer. I'm looking for a news type Wordpress theme that will allow me to do a few things:
1.- A three column, Huffpost like layout would probably be the best.
2.- I need the ability to get widgets to grab feeds from specific sources. In my case since it's going to be a chess site I might want a widget to grab the feeds from an ongoing tournament thats being streamed live on a widget, a chess problem from a problems/puzzles site on another widget and so on. I would be redirecting the feeds as needed myself obviously.
3.- I need it to be fairly easy to configure. To get an idea how easy I need it to be, on my first blog which is an autoblog on heatmap theme it took me forever to figure out how to get amazon because I couldn't figure out that the ad slots were actually widgets that got activated once you modified them and put them into place. I was trying to just copy paste the code into a standard post and trying to place it correctly
