Purchase of leads advisable?

Hi all! I was wondering if it is advisable to purchase leads from autoresponders? Does anyone have experience with purchasing leads from Getresponse? Are the leads of quality?

If not, any good ones to recommend?

In addition, when we talk about leads, does it refer to opt-ins to your list or page impressions?

I haven't ever used their services, but I remember a particularly informative thread that discussed it, which I think will help you out a lot.

Don't do it. Spend your time and money putting your efforts towards getting people opted-in that are genuinely interested in what you offer. "Forcing" people to hear from you doesn't mean high conversions by any means... I promise. Try launching a WSO, using the Warriors For Hire section, use Google AdWords, banner advertisements... get yourself out there.

IMO it's not advisable to buy your leads... That's basically buying a mailing list (and you can't do that with ARs)

You can buy mailing lists from sellers but I wouldn't go there. The whole point is to get people to optin to your list willingly ==> that's what makes it responsive and allows you to monetize it.

If you start mailing unsolicited offers you're not going to see any cash come your way...just spam complaints from those you mailing. I'd avoid it if I was you..

And Leads are prospects, people who visit your site who you try to turn into a customer of yours.

The leads are derived from running co-reg ads, so in fact, people are making their own decision to opt-in to your list. I appreciate what Noel and Ross are saying, but this is not the same thing.

Personally, I think buying links and stuff is quite risky. If you really are interested, I recommend going for the getresponse one. They don't give you opt-ins I think, they just send prospects to your squeeze page and it all comes down to what content you have. I f you can be a little more specific in your niche, I can probably tell you targeted websites selling paid traffics. But I recommend getting started with free traffic first, after a while when your list reaches maybe 200++ , you can try it out.

To choose which one to buy, you actually have to make a bet. When buying, you buy the most minimum amount possible, and see the results, the amount of opt-ins, clicks and actual sales. This will determine whether or not you can proceed further with this vendor. Usually, it starts out slow.

As long as you can regain half your investment with sales from the new buyers, it is considered a good vendor. This is because, in the beginning, you need to start up with branding yourself to make people trust and buy from you. As long as you have a list, and build your relations with them, in the long run they might turn into full prospect buyers and then you will be raking in cash !

Wish I helped , good luck with your business endeavor !

Ive never heard of anything like that

personally all i use to get tonnes of leads is solo ads

as long as you use decent solo providers you will get quality leads and get buyers from them too

i will be honest this is the only paid traffic source i use to build my list, the conversions are insane and its so easy to set campaigns up

think about trying some solo ads if you want plenty of leads going to your landing/squeeze page
