All the offline warriors who doubt themselves, this is for you.

I started doing offline marketing a few months ago and was doubting myself a bit as far as if I could make small business owners money or not. I know the theory behind all of these techniques such as list building but never had any real success with it.

Anyways, I got a list started for a friend of mine and in 2 months we've managed to get about 165 customers on the list, yesterday I sent out an email to where we were giving away a 14OZ Ny steak for just $9.99 on saturday night.(tonight) I told them how they couldnt even find that cheaper in the grocery store.

By 5pm tonight they already sold 20 steaks. The restaurant ended up selling around 32 of those NY steaks. Not sure how many tables it was all together but I am guessing the restaurant made around $700 in sales because of that email.

Now I know this is still small numbers from a small list but imagine how well the list will do when we have 2000 customers?

I am sharing this to let you know that if I can do this then anybody can do it. It really wasnt hard to set that list up. This just gave me a whole new burst of confidence.

Anyways thought I'd shar that with you all.

Cheers

    Jan,

    That's great! Well done.

I know this is still small numbers from a small list
It's all relative. It will just grow from there. Continue tracking your email promotions, tie revenue to the email and you're on your way!

How did you ensure the 32 steaks were all tied to the email campaign? Did you have a coupon? I'm happy to hear that that many people actually read their email within 24 hours or so! You must have had a killer subject line.

    Great work, keep it up!

That's the Key to the whole concept, its not about being slick, or having a pretty website design.

    Truth:

A simple email to a targeted list Works

I tracked how many people came in from the list by making them say a keyword I sent in the email.

I havent really went full blown into this business model. I told myself I have to make at least 2 clients happy and money then I'll have the confidence to go full steam ahead. I have a few other clients and so far they are all happy.

      You know what's really interesting.

Most people would think of people selling steak in a regular walk past business, think of email marketing and think "no way those two are going to mix!"

But they do mix and they mix very well.

Like Jan you can help small business owners make some serious money with their internet marketing.

And yes I can remember when Jan was just starting out (it wasn't that long ago).

It really is something Warrior Forum members can do to make real money.

Jan to make this thread more interesting perhaps you could share with us:

Just go out an talk to business owners. LOL, that's all it takes.Actually to tell the truth I am getting swamped right now from business owners who wants my services. It's mainly web design and then SEO optimization. I am not taking any more on because quite frankly it kinda overwhelmed me so I want to take it one step at a time to make sure I am actually helping business owners and not ripping them off.

I am by no means even close to being successfull yet but I can definately see myself making a nice income from this eventually.

        Cheers

Ps. Andrew thanks for all always answering all my questions and Pm's. You're the Man. Thats for sure.
