Does anyone know how many accounts you can have at Twitter from the same ip address?
I have multiple legitimate sites, but do not want to get banned or blacklisted, or whatever they do.

You are allowed multiple accounts but need a different email address for each. And you can't do massive account creation. Here is a little more on that...Twitter Help Center | The Twitter Rules

  • Just make sure not to draw too much attention to them by using bots that are able to add followers in excess of what you can humanly do, and also try not to cross promote each others accounts too much.

You can create 10 accounts per IP/proxy.

Anything over 10 will autosuspend, even if you don't try to use the account.

As for how many you can USE - You can use up to 5 accounts per IP/proxy at the same time.

Does it matter whether the proxies are free or paid?

    Kinda..

Free proxies can be used by anybody in the world - So there are 3 problems with them:

1, they can die REALLY fast. Sometimes within minutes.

2, there is no way of knowing what other people are using the proxies for.

3, because of #2, if you use a proxy that someone else has already abused on Twitter, your account could be banned - just for being associated with that abused IP (logging in from it)

Anyway - if you decide to buy proxies, go with PRIVATE!!

Shared is just one step above free proxies - They can still be used by others, only difference is they won't die on you.

Trust me, you don't wanna share your proxies with other people.
