Affiliate site in a niche with various products

I like to create aStores (I'm an amazon affiliate) for niches like clothes and shoes... I'm creating an aStore for shoes now... just waiting for some articles that I had outsourced.

is it hard to become an amazon affilliate like ebay? do u need a website already setup to become an amazon affiliate?

Amazon is pretty easy to get signed up with. If I were you, I would create one main site that listed products and text. I dont think I would do an aStore. I would then break the niche down into categories. You can SEO the categories using some WP plugins. I would then break the niche down to brands (if applicable). Finally, and most importantly, I would create a page for each product. For your product page, try optimizing for that product name.

If you do that you can:
optimize your site for keywords in the niche
optimize your categories - -Subniches
optimize your product page for the name of the product

That way you cover variants of the way people within the niche search. Some search by keyword, some by category, some by the actual product name. The product name shoppers are buyers, so it wouldnt be a bad idea to include a seperate review category and review one product per post and target "buy..." and ...reviews"

Yep.. it would definitely work..

It is something I do all the time... tightly focus each page around one product and optimise for keywords around that product.

Same niche, different product pages.. works a treat for me
