Were You Productive Today?

Did you do anything productive today or did you just randomly surf the internet?

Me:
9 AM - Wake up
9:30 AM - Do some keyword research
11 AM - Talked with a potential client on the phone
1 PM - Went to go get lunch
1:30 PM - Came back and did some more keyword research, to be interrupted by Skype spam
2 PM - Worked on a 4,000 word project
4 PM - Finished the 4,000 word project
5 PM - Did some very in-depth market research
6 PM - Went out for dinner
7 PM - Continued market research and started brainstorming
9 PM - (I think?) Hands started to hurt so I checked out what's up on the Warrior Forum and answered some questions

That sounds like a productive day did you get the 4,000 word project published?

Keep a schedule like that regularly and good things are bound to happen.

Yeah, it was on a subject I was knowledgeable on so writing time, it wasn't that long. On knowledgeable subjects that don't have a laundry list of special requirements, I can write 3,000+ words on an hourly basis.

Of course, this isn't an everyday thing but still!

      Impressive,

I wish I could say the same.

I was not outputting much, but rather inputting new information and ideas.

When my creative-self runs out of fuel, I will inject new advice and perspectives
into my brain to keep sharpening my saw.

Seems like you used your time very well today - Kudos!
That's the only way to do it! To stay active and continually work on your business or your website.

Everyone will have non-productive days or days they just need to step away from the computer for a while.

Well, I can't tell you the times, as I haven't watched a clock since I worked for someone else.

I did however, finish up recording a phone prompt system for another company.

I also did some socializing here on the forum and while out to dinner with hubby, son and mother-in-law.

I woke up, exercised, ate breakfast, did homework, then (currently) marketed website. Everyday is a productive day for me... until when i see Rachel Ray come on.

I spent the day with family but my mind was on getting back to work (which I try not to do but it's hard) I made one blog entry and answered a couple questions on Yahoo. I spent the rest of my time on this forum and then researching new domain names, just to find out they were all premium and it pissed me off! lol Not so productive for me! I should have added more products to my amazon review site. I even wrote down 5 things I needed to get done and only did 1. I guess I still have time tonight, if I ever get off this forum!

I try my very best to be productive after I wake up in the morning each day, so I can achieve something by the end of the day, like making a sale or getting more traffic to my site.

I sent all the CPA networks I recently signed up with the questions I need answers to in order to choose an offer to promote among all the ones available on various networks, waiting for the answers next week.

I found a product I may be interested in promoting and found 23 000 keywords for this project

I worked on a legal opinion I need to do for school.

    I played some video games

This morning, I helped a young man (feels REALLY strange typing that LOL) who's trying to change his lfe, move.

This afternoon, I did some WF posting, went to dinner with my parents, and discussed their impending move which I am helping them plan.

Listened to a Bruce Springsteen concert on YouTube, worked on some goals, figured out a possible way to turn my Joe Cocker tickets into more twitter followers, and then sat down here for more posting. Also worked on my goals for the next 3 weeks and beyond.

Wow very productive. As for me, I woke up, did yoga, went for a run, ate breakfast and took a hot bath and now I am hanging around the forums. I got some stuff lined up but I want my day to be balanced. Oh well. Maybe it's just me. >.<

I had my alarm on my smartphone set to 11:00 AM today, but I guess I was so tired that I didn't hear it. So I slept until 2:00 PM

I was a little productive. I worked on moderating 2 forums I run. The one in my signature and the other webhostingbabble. Luckily there wasn't much spam to remove today. Askismet has been catching most of it. But a few slip through now and then.

Wow you just made me feel bad about my productivity. Do you offer scheduling services?

I woke up when my daughter came into my room, and told me she was ready for breakfast. Ate breakfast, and hung around the place for a while, played some tag, watched some TV. Went outside and fed the ducks and fish in our pond, played tag in the grass, and my daughter insisted on pretending to be a dog halfway through tag. Came back upstairs, talked with a business associate and then made some dinner. Waited for 'mom' to get off work, and then hung out with my wife and daughter for a while. After all that I sent out an e-mail to my list, and am now browsing the forums. Today was a good day!

Excellent job on being so productive, though. That's quite the workload to accomplish on a Sunday!

    Planing is everything in business!

There is a video on youtube where Brian Tracy talks about importance of planing your day, week, month, year... He called this 1000% Income Formula.

In this video he suggests that in the morning you need to read something you're passionate about which will boost your intent and energy. He says that after that you need to grab a piece of paper and pen and write your plan for that day. The next thing is to determine what are your priorities and take action.

i'd be happy if i was able to do 8+ solid hours of work, but most days realistically maybe 6 solid hours of work done (not counting breaks and other interruptions) which is not too bad compared to a 9 to 5 but could be improved

It's definitely been a productive day! I read a little bit of a book called Time Warrior last night and it really got me into a good place - highly recommend the book.

I do a lot of pomodoros - I've already done 12 today. Time boxing like this is really helpful for me as there's something about a set timer that makes me want to be more productive.

Plus, I got two people to agree to be accountability partners. I'll be checking in with them every night. That also puts a fire under me!

Very impressive! Well, as for me, I start my day checking my emails then talk to my colleagues through Skype. After lunch, that’s where my work starts. I just enabld Time Doctor as soon as I start transferring info to a website, because it does efficient time tracking all week long. I usually take dinner at 9pm then go to sleep…and another day again.
