Wordpress Research Plugin a hit!

Today one of my students sent me a plugin to test for them and I must say it was very good.

This plugin allows you to do research right inside your posting screen.

Here is what you can do.

* Search your blog for posts, edit them or insert links to them into the current post
* Insert Flickr Images
* Insert Youtube videos
* Search and link to Wikipedia
* Search Google
* Search News
* Google Blog Search
* Insert a Google Map

I love plugins that work and are a little off the norm and this fits the critea perfectly.

    Hey, thanks for the heads up on that plugin. I was on their site an hour ago and missed this brilliant plugin. I have tried the Windows Live Writer but it doesn't do Google Maps which I prefere to the Microsoft Maps. Appreciated the post.

    Thanks for sharing. I've been away from the WF for a while and haven't participated much over the past few months. I just started coming back over the past few days and have been disappointed with sheer amount of whiner posts and just plain DUMB comments I keep coming across.

    Refreshing to see a post with value my man...like it's supposed to be around here.

      Plugins like this are why I am completely in love with Wordpress. Almost all of my buddies that used to do HTML web sites are moving over to Wordpress as well, and they say its because of the plugin architecture. Well, that, and the price! Thanks for the heads up on this new plugin.
