Advice on old and new business Model

hello all, (long time reader, first time poster, lol)

just need a bit of feedback and advice if possible. i have been building my website over the last couple of months. concentrating on reviewing homeopathy (alternative natural medicines), products from companies im affiliated to. basically i was reviewing each product and linking it to the relevent page on the products main website and was putting articles on a different page. thats basically all ive been doing with the website. what i am thinking of doing now is. posting articles on home page as actual posts (instead of the reviews), every day or so, and have all the reviews accessed via categories sections. the problem i have though is, would the products be too deep in the website, and would the homepage be too boring without the products mainly on the homepage. the articles would be about general medical conditions across the board so there will be lots of variation.

Looking forward to your responses

Darren

If you can't reach any important page in at most 2 clicks, then it is far.

      thanks for that

there will be catagories down the side of main homepage, which will take you to the product reviews and options to buy. my thinking was that information first and product secondly, bulding a trust situation, rather than having the products smacking you in the face with information further in the website.
