Which Shoppincart for Wishlist Member and recurring payment?
Hi,
I want to run a membershipwebsite with recurring payments and as little headaches as possible. So after clicking the buy button (with free trial) the customer should be redirected to the membershipsite and his account is already setup.
If he cancels his membership, he shall be removed from his membershiplevel and have no further access to the content.
I see 3 options to accomplish that:
1. Integration with Paypal is supposed to be easy and a default option of Wishlist Member. I found some complains though regarding cancellations. Siteowners reported that their customers still had access to the membershipsite even though they canceled the payments months ago! One of the wishlist developers promised(1 year ago) that they will plug that hole, but nothing changed so far...correct me if Im wrong. There is no way I can doublecheck every cancellation, so that is no option. Has anyone have a solid Paypal integration that he is really happy with?
2. Clickbank integration. I never used Clickbank for anything and I don`t want to scatter my products on too many shoppingcarts. A real biggie is the 60 day moneyback guarantee every Clickbank vendor is forced to give. Does Clickbank offer any other noteworthy features that would change my mind and give it a shot?
3. Custom integration with my current shoppingcart. I currently use Avangate and Im very happy with it. The only thing thats missing is a integration with Wishlist Member, but its API is supposed to be quite powerfull and the documentation is excellent. According to Freelancer.com a custom integration would cost arround 250$, but so far my experience with freelancer.com has been rather bad: no communication, inexperienced freelancers unfinished projects...
Has anyone succeeded to integrate Avangate(or another shoppingcart that needs custom integration) with Wishlist Member so that adding and removing members is in sync with their purchase and cancellation?
