Google Search Counts & Google Blocks for Micro Niche Finder & Market Sumurai

My friend told me Market Sumurai can only retrieve about 150 keywords before it gets a Google block.

noblesamurai.com/support/helpdesk/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticl eid=44&nav=0

That was at least 1 month ago. I wonder if that has been resolved?

Any idea how Market Samurai gets its keyword search counts? Some people say it is inaccurate.

Micro Niche Finder really sucks at getting the search counts. It shows "Dig This" for a lot of keywords and it makes no sense. Imported keywords all show "Dig This" for the keyword count column and I cannot get the search counts manually.

Do you guys know a tool that can provide me with:

1. Google search counts
2. Google search results
3. KEI
4. Number of Google Adwords ads
5. Average Google Adwords CPC

Niche Inspector used to do all this except it grabs the search counts from 7search. That was before Google released its search counts. Not sure if it has been updated lately. Niche Inspector is now unsupported. The author has disappeared into outer space and she does not reply to support request but her site is still online!

The latest Market Samurai (version 0.80.19) pulls 200 keywords without any issues.

As for the results, this is from the MS knowledgebase:

Sometimes the results returned from Market Samurai differ from the results obtained from Adwords, the Synonym Tool and Google search results.

Short Answer: This is usually a case of different data from different data centers.

    Long Answer:

Google stores all its data in central repositories called 'data centers'.

Google currently has over 300 data centres which is uses to provide search engines results and other associated data to users. At any time, you can be connected to any of these 300 data centres - which one is determined at random (by their DNS server).

Because these data centres are spread over a large range of locations, the data stored can change from location-to-location. You may find that your site ranks better on some data centres than others at times.

As thousands of searches and huge amounts of data are being measured every second of the day, it is impossible for Google to keep the data identical in each data centre.

From a traffic stats perspective, you will find that you get different data frequently out of Google - it won't always be the same.

While Market Samurai may be getting its data from one centre, the user may be getting redirected to another data centre during their manual search.

This is where data variance stems from.
Have you tried deleting your existing searches in MNF?

Sometimes when you research a keyword and try and dig it after you've already searched for suggested keywords it throws up "Dig This"

I find that if you delete the search and try again it works. It may not on your end but it always does for me. I have (version 4.1.3)

    Dave.

You can get around this by pasting your keyword list into the Google External tool, unchecking synonyms, adjusting the results so you're getting only exact search counts and no other columns, exporting to a csv, and importing that csv into MNF. Phew! Sounds like quite a performance but it doesn't take long.

I generally prefer to work completely inside MNF but the above works if I want to take an existing keyword list and update the numbers for it.

Thanks for the Google external tool tip.

Do you find that if you put over 100 keywords into it, it only returns about 100 or less back?

It often doesn't return all of them back, but I haven't closely tested to see exactly what it's doing. Sometimes running it again gives you more results, or splitting a long keyword list into small chunks can work.

I use KeywordElite right now. I guess that one is not pulling from Google External (?). Should I switch to MNF? Pros/Cons.

          @Michele:
Getting banned by goog: I set the courtesy level in KE to 20 to 60 seconds, and never been banned that way. It may take all night to run a query, but then I am sleeping goog seems to have a timing ban, not number of queries ban.

            Hello,

I am new here and I am about to buy MNF or Market Samurai because support from KeywordElite seems dead according to other threads. Or what niche keyword tool should I buy?

Anybody care to save us newbies some time and money?

            Thank you,
            DinhTa

I'm a keyword research fanatic, and have been continuously disappointed with the programs I have either purchased over the years or subscribed to, and I believe I have purchased most of them, and I have tried free tools, including Google's which I do still refer to, but my best investment to date was this one, and no, this is not an affiliate link, and it does have a 7 day free trial. I would advise you to try it.

Keyword Research Software Tool - KR Pro

I hope you like it as much as I do.

BTW, you will get banned by Google with a lot of programs, and that's why you need to get an IP proxy, which is very easy to do. Just go to Google and search for free IP proxy list. You will need it for a lot of the keyword programs. Google doesn't like you retrieving all their data like that.

Thanks Michelle.. I will try it. Do you think Tor's privacy tool would work with these software? Those free proxy lists are a pain because most of them do not work.

Two great tools but I have noticed digthis with MNF. I like them so much I have tossed the other so called guru keyword tools by the wayside.

What I do to verify niche counts is use google insights. I also use google sktool to get a better idea of what is going on.

That's why I don't pay for any of these Keyword Tools at all.

Many people missed a lot of niches because they rely on tools that don't have accurate and updated data. They were mesmerized by fancy reporting.

Thanks JJ. I can't tell you how much money I have wasted on these dumb tools. I am not even 100% impressed with both Market Samurai and Micro Niche Finder. Keyword Elite is rubbish in my opinion.

Is it convenient to manually search without software?

I just checked the search count numbers generated by Keyword Research Pro and the numbers do match the ones at https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

However, I have no idea how the google search results were retrieved. They do not match the results of my manual search on Google.com.

    For example:

"1 day acuvue" has 239,000 resultson my browser but Keyword Research Pro shows 14000.

    This messes up everything.

Any idea how to get the google search results easily? Searching them one by one is hell.

I just doubled checked my settings and now the search results are working fine. Now the problem is the number of Google ads. All zero on my screen.

The issue with keyword tools is not how they present their reports. It's the Data.

Even if they tell you exactly the best keyword in your niche but the basis of their own analysis is from a SCREWED data, what benefit it will bring you? NADA!

Here's my advice, if the search count of your favorite tool is different from what Google Adwords Keyword Tool, drop it. It doesn't matter if its paid or not. Popular or not.

Many tools out there are popular because they're promoted by lots of affiliate. They're promoted because people make money out of you or newbies who are clueless on where to begin.

Google Keyword Tool + Common Sense = MONEY!
