I heard you can make some money selling info products, as well as with affiliate marketing

72 posts... surely by now you should have an idea what most people around here do to make money ???

You should know there's not a single fix-all solution to ANY problem. AdBrite is pretty popular, apparently Yahoo! is coming up with something comparable to AdSense (go figure!), but you need to try your own ideas. Maybe using Clicksor will work for your market. Maybe Casale or Blue Lithium. Or any one of the several other ad networks will give you the best experience. Google it, try them all, and figure it out. All markets are not created equal. We can't just tell you "Oh yeah, Super Duper Premium Ad Network is the best for everything."

yahoo has a system like adsense I hear adbrite does decent as well never used any of them though more money to be made building your own products and selling them. As for classified ads I would say best spot that I know of is ebay $10 for 30 days they seem to do rather well.
